Is there anyway to stop firefox from constantly writing to the hard drive while browsing to different pages? On some sites it's so bad that there is hard drive activity for up to 10 or 15 seconds. A file monitor says its the cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite-journal file that are writing.

I'm trying to find a case that will house the following, full sizes atx motherboard with a large heat sink, normal psu, one optical drive and up to four hard drives and it should use 120mm fans. I'd also like to see the psu at the front where there is usually unused external bays. Then there...
I'm just going on what the store told me.
Just thought of another comparison. What is the game situation on andriod? The iphone will have plenty of games, how does andriod compare? Is there a comparison between the two phones for 3d graphics, or is the graphics power based off the same 1ghz...
Bell does have the legend but yea it's older and I'm not interested. It's between the galaxy s and the iphone 4 because I don't think anything else compares in Canada right now.
The Bell store I've been dealing with says they will get the 4 in this weekend, but they don't know how many so...
I'm with Bell in Canada and trying to decide which new phone to get. Last month I signed a contract and got the 3gs, then two weeks later found out the iphone 4 was coming mid july (I assumed it would be coming to canada late like the 3gs took til the end of 09). So I returned the 3gs inside the...
I tried searching for some answers but most of the results ended up explaining how to bypass smart phone security or some other hacks.
My question though is how safe is it using passwords or sending other sensitive info over 3G? What little I did find in my search said that 3G data has some...
Well setting C to active forced my hand. After I restarted it got a boot manager missing error and couldn't do anything with all or just the C connected. With just C connected I booted with the win7 disc and let it repair the start up problems. Now in disc manager the C is active and system...
Yea I've set the C to active through disk management. Now both C and D are active. Is there no way to make C the system drive through windows? I'm sketched out about trying to repair windows from the win7 install disc.
with only the c: connected there is no boot drive found on start up, and loading with the win7 install disc it isn't able to detect any installations. but when in the win7 installer from the boot disc i am able to browse through the c: drive.
I did a fresh install of win7 a few months ago to my c: with all three of my hard drives in the system. But now when you go through computer management to disk management, the c: shows as boot, page, crash, primary, and the d: shows as system, primary. How do I make the c: include the system...
