Well i was able to get the MBR fixed last night by having only Drive 0 connected. I was also able to browse my files through notepad in the recovery console :p. However i did everything i could think of to find a way to get into safe mode so that i could get the new driver in place, but no dice...
You could run some tests against the hard drives to see how many bad sectors you have etc. There is a free program you can download to check that but i cant think of it off hand. I'll keep digging up those brain cells and post up a link to it when i remember :D
Had an idea last night. If i have just one of my raid drives, like drive 0, connected, could i get the MBR and driver issues fixed on that drive and then rebuild the array so it has the new info? Or would that be a better question for the hard drive forum?
Yea, i told windows to install the updates, and then it said to reboot and now im fucked.
:( i hope its not a root kit because all i did today was update the drivers and open outlook :(
