try lowering the speeds of the ram at 1066 or whatever default timings are for that board. Its been a while since I had mine, but I remember with a certain amount of ram or using all the slots not all of those asus x58 boards would run 1600mhz. Easy enough to try at least right? just ditch...
is that actually an issue though? who is going to game at 4K on a 65" screen? 1080 and upscale to 4K will be fine and still be what any console and the majority of gaming rigs do. Even using a powerful rig, input lag and that screen size, gaming performance is a moot point IMO.
I picked one up and other than the part number and a refurb sticker on the bottom of the box, you would never know it wasn't brand new. putting it in my htpc. these would be great for gpu cooling too
just got email confirmation to pick up an i3-3210 for $71 I just ordered :)
