Other than aim-assist being bit too strong (there by making it bit harder to differentiate between skilled players and stick-mashers), it's hard to fault this game Stronger aim-assist does make barrier of entry lower for newer players so it's really hard to fault Bungie for this selection.
Actually I mentioned it to say that there is not even a speaker hum. MixAmp was off so all I hear is the noise coming from the console. Of course I didn't have the headphones on when detecting for noise coming from the console.
Installing the game is a huge boon for 360 games. It's fast and...
I LOVE the MS Live points system.
You can find discounted cards (I recently paid $50 for 8000 points) then wait for them to discount the games and get the games for fraction of the original cost. If they charged for everything in real currency... it's real hard to pay $50 for $100 if you know...
Hmm... I've got 2 360 (both Jasper) and a PS3 right in front me as I type. When I play a game (I use a headphone), installed version on 360, 360 seems to be as quiet as the PS3 (if not more quiet.)
I'm using a ASUS VH(?)242H 24" monitor via the HDMI 2ms. I have a HDMI switch setup with PS3 and 360 going through it. This means I never have to fight anyone for the TV. For sound, I have a optical TOSLINK switch with Astro MixAmp giving me dolby headphone. So that no one else is bothered by...
Difficulty in canceling these kind of services is exactly why I've been using using prepaid cards. Like most, I've been paying $30.
I've really only been using the service for multiplayer (PC does a better job with facebook etc., have a DVR, blu-ray player, don't really use netflix.) I've also...
In the last 16 or so months I've bought 3 xbox 360 (no, none have failed) and a PS3. (Also have a Wii but that thing just sits collecting dust unless my nephew visits or something.)
I notice that I game more on the xbox mostly due to the fact that more of the people that I personally know game...
Bought it. I loved the demo (which I played only recently) but I heard about this deal coming from slickdeals so waited a few days. It is A LOT like classic Metroid with new graphics.
BTW Microcenter has sale on Live points ($40 for 4000 I think). Though I grabbed mine when they had that...
Gospel.
(And I actually enjoy the game as a mindless shooter. Akimbo 1887 is pretty much broken. I wouldn't mind if they turned the aim assist down a bit either.)
As far as OP request, though not a jungle, Battlefield 1943 had a bit of the open world feel with destructible environments and...
I also have a 70GX from NEC. It's a fantastic monitor. I would ditch my Samsung 226BW if only the NEC was a 24" 1080p I wouldn't be looking for another monitor now. Though Samsung is rated at 2ms, I subjectively see less ghosting issues on the NEC (which I believe is a 12ms(!) monitor.) I can...
Not out yet... but....
MAG! (256 player FPS)
There's a beta going on right now (if you pre-order the game.)
I'm buying a PS3 just for this game. Waiting to see if there are any good Black Friday deals.
Fat or slim? Both $300... (160GB fat that is) Other than the Linux thing on the Fat and new audio stuff on the Slim, is there anything else different? (Well, other than size, weight, and power.)
Yep. I already have a HDMI switch with remote. I'm looking for a cleaner solution. Though it would open up the choice of LCD's if reduced the HDMI requirements to just one.
