Would placing the speaker on an isolation pad, on its side be a workable solution?
The reason why I would rather place the speaker on it's side is because as it will sit above the monitor, the tweeter will be at the bottom and closer to my ears rather than higher up if I have the speaker...
Hi, I plan on using the Edifier 1280Ts for this 5.1 setup. The Edifier speakers left and right, have the tweeter mounted differently on left and right. Do you see any issue with using just the right speaker as the center channel? I think it would be best to use just the right speaker as the...
I remember seeing pictures in a big thread on this forum of peoples audio setup. I saw some pictures of people mounting large bookshelf speaker center channel above their monitor facing down.
Since I have no room below my 55" display, would it work mounting an Edifier 1280T bookshelf speaker...
My benchmarks were so much better with dual rank, however, I made sure to get 16gb modules in dual rank, so 2x16gb. Yes, Dual rank does make a very big different with DDR4 and my 9900K when compared to single rank.
I'm building a PC for my father, and it will be a 13900K with 64gb of memory. I already purchased the Aorus Master Z790 DDR5 motherboard.
He just wants a fast computer and doesn't game, he intends to do video editing, but I can't convince him that this system is overkill.
My question is, I...
I'm building a 13900K build and it seems I can't find a 13900K processor at MSRP.
Is this something that will be hard to get for many months and I should pay over MSRP for it? Amazon has it for like $900 bucks.
Thanks.
just to give an update.
I changed my memory voltage from AUTO to 1.35 volts, which is the XMP memory voltage rating. I never had an issue since doing this and did not try anything else.
I'm not sure why this would make a difference because I thought XMP sets the memory voltage automatically to...
Possibly, but you would have to make sure the sticks are matched.
I had lots of issues running 4 sticks of ram and had to lower my memory timings to get it to work. I wound up returning 2 sticks. It was a nightmare and I'll never try and use 4 sticks again.
yes, it is possible if you buy a...
No, just running them at XMP and everything AUTO. I'm not over clocking anything actually.
Someone in a different post and happened to have the same motherboard, had an issue where he had to set his timings manually to fix his problems. Do you think that could possibly fix the issue with my...
I have the same motherboard and having an issue where when booting my computer it gives me an error and reduces the timings so that my computer can boot into bios. I never have any crashes in windows though, this is just a booting issue.
I am thinking the same as you, to set the memory timings...
GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS PRO
G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 PC4-28800 CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory
This is running fine, but I have noticed that sometimes when booting up my computer it will boot up into bios saying there is an issue and it has detuned my memory back to default...
You definitely want the dual rank (not talking about dual channel here obviously), I was researching this a lot a while back and it seemed the way to go so I spent the time to find dual rank memory and had to go to microcenter and visually verify it had memory modules on both sides of the...
good point, however, I was never able to run my old memory at the 4266 speeds since it was new. I probably should have returned it but I never did. What I did was run it at around 3800 as that is as high as I could go.
What I then did was I ran a number of benchmarks with this 4266 memory and...
