Since I came in after our network rollout, I am at a loss on what I should do to roll out IOS upgrades to our 60+ locations. The inital rollout did not implement any UPS solution or OOBM solutions such as modems at the sites. For the few site I needed to upgrade, I sent out a laptop and a...
Have you tried hooking your PS3 right into your DSL / Modem? If you still get disconnects from there you can narrow it down to a faulty modem or ISP. I had simliar issues with Comcast until they fixed the cable in my neighborhood.
Easiest solution would be changing the port that is used to access OWA, but you said you did not want to change that. The only other solution I can think of, is to use host headers.
Is there some kind of limititation that another public ip can't be used? I thought you said you have 5.
Don't think the 754's had any winchesters. I know AMD released 754 venice's, so that is what he must have. I have thought about replacing my 3400+ Newcastle with a venice, but I just could not justify the price.
Even though I have 5 x2's, and really like AMD products, I want to test a C2D.
Go to RUN
type control userpasswords2
click off users must enter username/password .....
That should fix you up... As mentioned before, some Autoupdates foobar the automagical login.
Only if you have money to burn. LOL.
J/K, you will be fine just upgrading your 939. Now if you wanted to upgrade your ram or go to SLI/CF MB, I would say go AM2 since CPU's are cheap now. For immediate gratification I would just get a dual core 939.
Thanks! Great idea, I have a few 80gb's SATA drives laying around too, so I will throw one of them in. That makes great sense since so I don't have to worry about the media stuff if I decide to play with the OS.
Okay, I'm kind a noob when it comes to the HTPC realm, I have alot of spare parts laying around and decided to make use of it. Please make any comments or suggestions on any of the software / hardware configuration.

It just amazes me that people take stock in anything the inq has to say. The whole reverse hyperthreading thing would be something AMD would have to do now, and not down the road in a future core. It will be irrelevent before it, if it ever, comes out.
Wait until Conroe comes out. Period.
Conroe's performance looks impressive and AMD plans substantial price drops the day after Conroe is released. So it's a win-win situation.
The landscape maybe very different once the DX10 cards actually debut, since it's going to be quite a ways down...
I don't think he ever said it was a review. It showed me that the lower clocked processors have headroom without much effort. The 4200+ (~ $350) at almost FX62 (~ $1000+) speeds. It wasn't biased, and I think the picture was included to show that it was hacked setup. If it was a true review...
That's an easy answer, AMD would most likely be non-existant without Intel. I am not criticizing Intel. I am just wondering what kind of relationship Intel and AMD has. I would think that Intel gets a some reimbustment for licensing the technology to them. I can't imagine that Intel doesn't...
Poncho,
How much of the technology does AMD license from Intel? Any idea? Just wondering, since I see that as one of the reasons AMD can be comptetive with Intel. They don't, and aren't required to develop many of the features/technologies of their CPU design. They take some from Intel...
