    Yes, like stated before... set your CPU settings to 15x133 and the voltage to 1.45v in the BIOS. If it dosen't run stabally then you may have a problem... :( The only reason it's showing as "Unknown CPU Type", that I can see, is because the BIOS dosen't recognize the CPUID string number. A...

    Using a Volcano 7 on a XP 2500+

    Im useing a Volcano 9 on a 2500+ @ 3200+ Idle's at 41°C, load is about 46°C. Fan is set to 2800 RPM, read from BIOS. Just for reference... You should be OK with a Volcano 7 on a 2500+ but I recommend getting a new(er) cooler

    The CPU's die/core is 0.09 microns or 90 nanometers thick. It is currently the top of the line process for CPU's. It helps heat and power consumption, cuts it down a lot for the most part.

    There are only like 2 specific instructions within SSE3 itself that have to do with HT, so it will not include those. But otherwise it will have full SSE3 capability.

    It's called Venice, not Winchester and it will add the SSE3 instruction set, and a lot of memory controller tweaks and enhancments, along with power reduction.
