I've never used the actual keyboard they sell but the general consensus is that for the price their keyboard is solid. I got some custom key caps and they were okay at best, but for the flexibility it's definitely an awesome option once they refine or improve the etching.

I managed to kill three IBM Model M keyboards in the span of 15 years, one of which I was the original owner. I bought a Das Keyboard and love the thing. They keys have a similar feel, although I wish they had a tougher press like the M did...

edit: to be fair, I've never run 7 on a HDD. But when I made the transition from a HDD to an SSD on XP I was absolutely amazed. That SSD was half as fast as the one I'm using now to run 7 on.

I've been reading about it and it doesn't always persist under every condition (being unplugged and off, etc), so the settings could very easily be reset and then I'd have to somehow get back into windows again.
