NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hi guys, I recently changed my cooling setup in the Ncase M1 V5. I initially had a NH U9S in push-pull and a 120mm PWM Noctua fan on the side bracket in front of the PSU. I bought a Scythe Kabuto 3 which was cheap (around 40€) and seemed to perform really well according to some reviews...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Thanks for your reply. I thought the C14S was not compatible ? edit: my bad, I guess you're talking on plural about the original C14. On another note, is anybody here using the Scythe Kabuto 3 ? Looks like a good performer vs. noctua U9S and D9L...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

:Hello: I'm quite happy with my current aircooler (U9S) but may have the opportunity to get a second-hand C14 (non S) for cheap. Would anybody know if it's possible to install 2*NF-A15PWM on the side panel? Given their weird dimensions, I'm not sure they can be both installed. Thanks

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hey everyone, I know that there is/was discussions around the best SFX PSU orientation in the M1 (fan facing the outside vs. the inside of the case). I wonder if anyone properly documented and provided results regarding temps/noise with a 120mm side fan attached on the right side of the case...

    Corsair SF600 600w SFX Powersupply

Ok thanks. I changed the fan on a Seasonic PSU a few years ago and used this Noctua adaptor with a BeQuiet fan, it worked just fine :) Anyway I just bought the moddyi cable, it was less expensive since the shipping is free.

    Corsair SF600 600w SFX Powersupply

Excuse my ignorance, what is the difference between a CB-32D adaptor and the one provided with the NF A4x10?

    Corsair SF600 600w SFX Powersupply

Hi everyone, Very interesting read regarding the Noctua mod on Corsair SF PSUs, many thanks to all contributors. I'd like to do the same on mine, I currently have one installed in my Ncase M1 V5. This thing really gets loud under load when compared to the rest of my system. Problem is that I...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

For anyone having the blinking power LED issue, I can confirm it was due to the Asus Z170i Pro under BIOS 3016. I flashed to the latest version (3020), and I finally have a steady non-blinking power LED when the PC is turned on :) Stability-wise, it seems fine with the same settings I had...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yeah i'm running skylake, but unfortunately I can't downgrade the BIOS on my motherboard (Z170i pro). It's a bit bothersome but the BIOS is fine otherwise. Managed to get my 6700k stable at 4.5ghz / 1.25VCore / LLC level 5 :)

I've been doing some research regarding the power LED blinking, Asus latest BIOS on Z170 mobos (3016) seems to be the cause.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Well my system is updated, but the power led is still blinking instead of emitting a steady light when the PC is on.. Not a problem by any means, but that bothers me a bit :|

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yeah I did, not sure what's going on, it was solid blue before. It's blinking regurlarly, as you would expect in a standby state.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hi, My build went well. Had some trouble with the motherboard, the latest BIOS (3016) does not seem to be very polished. My only issue so far is the power LED. It's blinking blue instead of being solid blue. I did not plug the power LED. Any ideas? Thanks

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)
