Well,... to be certain try this in the shell as root: $service iptables stop and then do $service smb restart if it smb works after that, you need to just add a rule to allow the ports through iptables... - Jay edit: grammar

By firewall, do you mean seLinux or iptables? cause seLinux is not a firewall... you need to open up the port on iptables.. (if you did disable iptables; disregard this message) - Jay

Got any links for those parts? I just ordered those cans and I may want to recable them... I looked on parts express but I wasn't sure which size techflex or heat shrink to get.(1/8"?) Also, what type of wire did you use? (plain speaker wire? 1/16"?) Thanks - Jay
