wire up a relay that turns on the the power from the mains to your second power supply when it sees 12v or something from the other PS. should be much more then splicing of the power cable for the second PS and cutting up a molex connector.

yea its a homebrew EFI thing, the chipset is a "Motorola 68HC908 microprocessor " thats all i know of the actual processor, to be honest i dont really know alot of electronics so im not sure how that plays into what kinda solder "device" i use?

when taking about HDD is the cache the same as the buffer? and will you notice the difference between a 2 mb buffer and 8 mb buffer?
