    Gigabyte AORUS FO48U 48" 4K 120Hz OLED

Much easier to recommend at 800, until we see reviews for the QD-OLEDs at least.

Dedicated input buttons on remotes need to make a comeback.

Turn input auto switching back on, basically has to be on.

I noticed that too, Gigabyte's tuning seems to negotiate around the panels weak points well, if they could just fix the ABL hiccups...

    Gigabyte AORUS FO48U 48" 4K 120Hz OLED

Huh, I swear the couple times I forgot to turn it off it started flashing when I tried to wake it up

RTings review is up... in their color calibrated section they used: RGB Controls 100-92-79 Gamma Setting 2.2 which is close to what I was running when I first got it.. but I noticed some weird artifacting if gamma is set to anything but off, and quite a brightness...

If you leave it on it runs the protection upon wakeup..

    Gigabyte AORUS FO48U 48" 4K 120Hz OLED

Saw a couple reviews agree on ~350 nits full screen if you max the settings, ~200 nits fullscreen at 50 'brightness'. A 10% window might hit 900

    Gigabyte AORUS FO48U 48" 4K 120Hz OLED

Flashed that beta bios and I was able to create a custom resolution for 4k @ 120 8-bit 4:4:4/RGB without DSC on DP, w00t

I'm fine with the brightness nanny controls, I just wish they worked right instead of randomly freaking out on hard cuts/transitions.

I've begun to expect a line of red on the left and cyan on the right with yellow objects in real life.

You're right, this includes the blanking intervals, at 32gbps

    Gigabyte AORUS FO48U 48" 4K 120Hz OLED

Great. 4K120Hz@10bit@4:4:4 is still 32gbps. The PS5 has to support more for audio channels and command and control. Back to this monitor, which doesn't support even 32gbps, doesn't properly support the 25gbps it's supposed to, and looks terrible in HDR mode anyway.
