Used to have a MSI MAG B650M Mortar and it had a long boot, before I updated the BIOS it would take an agonising 2 minutes just to POST, updating to the latest BIOS would take more than 30 seconds which is an improvement but not great. Disabling XMP/EXPO would further decrease the boot time...
Disappointing results for the 7900X3D, was considering that CPU when I was building my Ryzen 7000 PC, but went with the 7950X3D instead when it was on sale. What was the point of the 7900X3D with only 6 cores of the V-Cache anyway, even the 7800X3D is a better buy.
I'm planning to pick up a used GTX 1650 and have a 4K monitor that supports 120hz, however I don't play games, I'm just using it to watch HD videos and for general usage only. Will the GTX 1650 be able to output 120hz with full RGB if I use the DP port?
Unfortunately, if NVIDIA has no competition in the high end market then they can get away with high eye gouging prices especially if the 5090 is going to be 60-70% faster if true and unfortunately this is going to be the new norm. For years NVIDIA has been charging high prices for their flagship...
Back in 2012 I had some Xeon 6 core Intel CPU, forgot what it was called along with 12GB of DDR3 RAM along with a pair of GTX 570 I think. SLI support was still good back then but went to shit during 2016, the last time I had a SLI setup was back in 2017 with a pair of GTX 1070 and it was...
According to WCCFTech, these 8000 series APU's will only support PCIE-4 with reduced lanes.

Bit disappointing really, don't mind the lack of PCI-E 5.0...
Personally I find having an iGPU is quite useful especially for troubleshooting, not everybody wants a dedicated GPU especially for budget builds.
Was hoping that AMD would announce Zen 5 CPU's but nothing so far. Probably because Intel's Meteor Lake isn't scheduled to arrive later on this year...
I remember the Microsoft Office keyboard released back in the early 2000's
https://www.amazon.com.au/Microsoft-E17-00002-Office-Keyboard/dp/B00005NVBO
It was such a nice keyboard and I liked the scroller and navigation keys at the left side of the keyboard, it was a genius and innovative...
Miss the days back then all video cards used a single slot design, too bad these days high end cards would even take more than 3 slots which is bullshit.
Kind of knew the 512 bit memory bus rumour was a bit far fetched and using such a large memory bus would just increase the cost and would not have much of a huge benefit. Though still stuck on 24GB of VRAM is rather disappointing, would have been happier to see at least 32GB but that isn't...
So does this mean higher prices for the 4090? I'm already seeing price increases up to 100-200 more. Glad I bought mine 2 months ago and with crypto bouncing back I fear more price increases will continue in the near future.
Finished the base game a little while ago, bought both The Ancients Gods DLC and enjoying it, though I'm stuck at the final boss fight, he has the ability to heal himself which will extend the fight and shooting him most of the time doesn't really work because he carries a shield which deflects...
Since this was a refresh and not a new architecture, it was expected that it was only like 5% faster which is still disappointing, but not a complete dud like the 11th generation. Compared to 11th gen to 14th gen, I found 11th gen to be lackluster and pointless. The 11900k was just a pointless...
Just downloaded the demo, and I was not impressed by it. While it ran fine on my machine at max settings at 4K, I noticed some stuttering though the framerate stayed at 120 FPS most of the time.
Gameplay wise, I though it was bland and generic. I wasn't really expecting much from this game...
Most fighting games lack a story or either have a rather boring story with the exception of Mortal Kombat, I usually find Mortal Kombat's story mode very entertaining and interesting to watch and play.
