No there is no HDMI in the back unfortunately, just the RCA plug thing.
My friends dog decided to attack my stuff. The XBox is fine but the controller is slightly frayed, its not too bad, I will test it when I get home but I am repricing the XBox at 140$ shipped for now.
I scanned for some post concerning this question but would it be bad to raid a few 1tb hard drives that are not the same model? They are all WD brand drives just different models. I would like them in a raid 5 so performance isn't an issue.

First check the physical connection.
Check IP settings.
If possible, plug into a different port on your switch.
Usually its a network layer issue not an application layer
If you make a local account the same as a domain account then that could be your problem. Unless I misread what you said you shouldn't have the machine set up this way.
