I can confirm that the Belkin FD7000 cards work with the airport software, just reboot and youre ready to go. They go for about $10 on ebay.

Ive got one in my iBook and I love it.

I have a friend whos using one as a web/ftp server. It handles it with no problems.

I used to have a similar problem with a Dell laptop and any flash drive I tried in it. I never found a fix for it, I just made sure too unplug my flash drives before I restarted.

I installed a 7200rpm hitachi in mine. Wasnt really hard. The Book is much snappier now. Im sure if you searched for my thread youd find something.

Its a DVD right? I have the same DVD. The dvd gives you the option too make a stand alone .iso for each of the operating systems. Try making the .iso and burning it too a cd by itself.

Ive had mine for a few days now. Only problem so far is that I cant load UT2K4. I dont know why, installer just quits. Everything else is cool, im digging dashboard. I havent found a use for spotlight yet.

Well, youve only got one slot. You probably wont notice a huge difference between 512 and 768, go for the 1GB stick and call it done.
