I just received my E1705 on tuesday and yup same pixelated type corruption here too. Although that only happens when I use IE, Firefox looks fine. So I assume its something with the OS and IE that dell or MCE setup. Did you format/reinstall? and if not did your E1705 come with MCE or WinXP?

Actually its probably because 'most' of the people that work at Frys have no damn clue about the product they're selling and talking to them is very painful.
