Goldeneye 007 (Xbox One/Series X|S & Nintendo Switch)

As much as I loved Goldeneye 007 on the N64, Perfect dark was basically the same game (from a gameplay perspective) and better in every single way.

and Perfect Dark has been on XBLA in 1080P with upgraded assets since the Xbox360.

I could go on about how Perfect Dark was way, WAY ahead of its time, but unfortunately not many have played it due to being launched literally months from the PS2 release.
The reason Perfect Dark wasn't as mega of a success is----likely due to the fact it requires the N64 hardware expansion pack, to play the single player campaign and like 90% of the multi-player.

We rented it one time, not realizing this. I think we could have rented an expansion pack. But, we thought the requirement was stupid. And I never tried to play PD again.

Anyway, for PC gamers wanting multiplayer----just go get Goldeneye source. It's great.

Cheat codes don't work on the Xbox version, no doubt due to achievements.

Speaking of achievements, Microsoft acknowledged that there is an issue with unlocking them right now.

Aiming is not improved compared to the original.

The game jumps between 15 and 30 FPS just like the original jumped between 12 and 24 FPS, causing frustrating stutter at times. Performance doesn't drop as often as the N64 version, though.

The game should be added to Rare Replay when the update is released for that collection should you not have Game Pass. Due to Nintendo's strong arming in getting the game release, you are not able to purchase the game by itself.

Well thankfully Perfect Dark was fully updated for the Xbox 360 and is a joy to play. Goldeneye especially feels ancient when compared to the PD port.

I'm not in it, so I don't know how it works and how to pay, otherwise I have those xbox options turned off on my PC.
What does that xbox game pass give games for free or? Do you pay any kind of subscription...that's a question here for me and whether it exists in Europe...
You need Game Pass Ultimate to use Cloud gaming. The Ultimate version includes Game Pass for both consoles and PC, as well. For a monthly or yearly price, you can play any game included with Game Pass for no extra cost. In the US it costs $15/month or $180/year. Unfortunately Cloud Gaming is not available separately or just with PC Game Pass.

Availability of cloud streaming depends on the country. You can check here. Click "Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta)" above the table.

What's the point of playing in the cloud?
By the way, my country is not on the list anywhere. This is something strange to me, all xbox consoles and playstation consoles are available for purchase.

What chameleoneel said. Also, if you want to play on a mobile device on the go. In this case I mentioned it as an option since you asked if it was possible to play on PC. In these cases when a game is only on consoles this is a way to play them if you don't have a console.

Playing in the cloud is good for a computer with an old GPU or only Intel Graphics or AMD APU, etc.
And does it have to do with internet speed?
I only have 4Mbit/s
I don't know what they are inventing and do not make a normal game and for PC, that it can be purchased on steam.
Of all the games that come out this year, I'm not interested in any other than this Bond.
And that just because the game is TPS or FPS and Nightfire is a good game from 2002,and it's not futuristic like all games today.

Audio is really clipping, music is almost unbearable to listen. Played fine, performance wise. Trying to understand how I beat everything 007 way back when. Not necessarily the difficulty, just the ammo, I ran out in the dam tunnel. Unless the audio has been fixed from Friday, that really my only gripe.

Got gud at head shots ;) and maybe there is an unobvious ammo create you missed?

that is what this should have been.

I was pumped until I realized I needed a subscription service to enjoy the game in it's current form. Thankfully my N64 is still working. I dusted it off this past weekend, and while I enjoyed the nostalgia factor, modern FPS games have wrecked me!

You can buy the Rare Replay collection if you have a Xbox One or Series X|S. No subscription required.

My god, I forgot how annoying Aztec was.

Kind of surprised most people are having trouble with the target time on Caverns. It's one of the easier ones to get on 00 Agent, in my opinion. There is a stat on the official game club that tracks how many times it took you to beat Facility's target time. It took me 5 times to get the good Dr. Doak spawn and beat the target time.

An important note here is this is only true for the digital copy of Rare Replay. If you buy the disc, they won't offer the update for Goldeneye. Amazing the lengths they went through to disassociate with actually owning the game.
