Just upgraded from a 1080ti to a 3070ti and I have to say it's been a wacky experience. The card works great but I can't find a fix anywhere for some of the weird flickering I keep getting. I haven't ruled out some form of artifacting, but I've been unable to find any other examples of my issue. This originally was only an issue I've found in Rockstar Games, but I've noticed other weird and of the same graphical issues with more titles like Dying Light 2, as well as AC Titles and Atomic Heart. If anyone has any clue I'd appreciate it.

I should also state I'm currently running an undervolt on the card, but I have tried both a stable auto clock and stock profiles. Temps on ultra max around 73c in warm weather, stable fps in most games as well. I've had the card for less than two months, and the motherboard is a z690 edge wifi ddr4.

Specs:
Samsung Odyssey G5 34"
evga 3070ti FTW 3
i7-12700K
32gb 3600mhz Vengeance

Steps I've Tried:
DDU Re-Bar (on/off)
XMP (on/off)
Fresh Install Windows 11
Game Drive Location
Changing DLSS Modes

That is typically a bad card when you see the kind of artifacting you showed in your videos. Only other thing to try is an older driver set, but that's highly unlikely to be the issue. Get ready for an rma... :(.

Yup, that's more of artifacting rather than flickering issue.
Is that a new or 2nd hand card? contact Evga support to issue RMA @OP

That is artifacting for sure. I had a brand new EVGA 3070 do that a couple years ago. If you can't RMA it, then you can try reducing the memory speed. If it's tied to memory that may help temporarily. But, it's going to fail at some point. Saved the 1080ti? You may need it.

Brand new from my local Best Buy haha, whats weird is its super exclusive on which games it happens to, like rtx on cod is fine whereas rtx on say atomic heart for example is just a mess. Look's like it's RMA time

That is a textbook GPU core problem. RMA it, if its still in warranty from EVGA.

I'm realizing that now haha, I'm so used to seeing artifacting in the form of rgb squares and just straight up broken textures. Never seen it happen like this before so it's nice to finally know, even if it is a crappy outcome. Writing up the RMA now, thank you all.

yup, memory errors. core errors are usually the squares or space invaders. you could rma, seems like youve started that, or play with settings in afterburner to see if it goes away.

Well if its any help this is my current profile in MSI, but I have tried running in auto OC as well as stock settings and I'm not sure I've had anything change in game, although I never considered restarting the game after changing msi settings, figured it would just automatically fix the issue if it was fixable that way.

auto oc? remove that, run ddu and reinstall the newest drivers so everything is back to stock and try again.
