As the title says. My three-year-old Seasonic Prime Gold was just about the top rated power supply when I purchased it three years ago. I've read several recent articles reviewing 7900 XT's saying that a minimum of a top quality 850 is needed. Am I okay using what I have in my new system?

7900xt power usage is typical to rx 6900xt based on TPU review: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-radeon-rx-7900-xt/37.html
In guru3d, they recommended 650w minimum for whole system, and 7900xt used a lot lower than your 6950xt: https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_radeon_rx_7900_xt_review,6.html

So your prime 750w gold should be able to handle the upgrade, even if you upgrade to 7900xtx or rtx 4080.

75W is definitely not enough ;)
so which gpu are you actually planning on? title says 6950xt(psu ok?: maybe), then post says 7900xt(yes). kyles 6950xt was tripping up his older 1k...
