reusing SeaSonic-1200XP3 for new build?

I'm going to be building a PC (likely AM5) soon and figured I'd reuse my SS-1200XP3 power supply. I got the PSU late 2015. Anything I need to be aware of? Are there new standards out now that would require me to get a new PSU?

pop the top and check the guts for buldgy caps or signs of overheating/discolouring. if it looks good give it a go. if it has degraded at all, all that will probably happen is a power off under really heavy loads. kyle had that with a older 1k psu and a 6950xt. nvidia is trying to create the new single connector standard but you can adapt to it.

OK cool so I don't need to worry about any new PSU standards that have come out since 2015. That was my main concern

no prob. well, atx 3 just came out but you wont miss much other than that stupid nv connector

If you haven't dismantle your PC, then you may stress test your PC and check the PSU rails on HWInfo.
Or even better if you have multimeter for quick check on each of your PSU rail, then go check it.
I think as long as the rails are all good, then it can power up your new upgrades (that 1200XP3 is a strong units back when it released).
