Ridge Wallet 15% off

This looks great. Have a leather clip/slim wallet with a magnet clip that is still thicker than I'd like. Welcome15 works.

I've had the aluminum version for most of this year, and I love it. I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional wallet again. Next time, I'll probably upgrade to titanium or carbon fiber, but the aluminum is still great.

I'd try one at half the price. But for two slabs of aluminum and some elastic, the price is steep. And this is coming from a guy who has carried a $150 leather wallet for the last 10 years. I do believe sometimes you get what you pay for, but maybe not in this instance. $25 I'd try it.

Check out Elephant Wallet. Similar concept, lots of colors/styles and I think that some are in that price range.

6 year necro...alrighty then.

Still glad I switched from Ridge but I know lotsa people like them.

I don't understand the attraction of a ridge wallet. $100 for two pieces of metal and see trap. My wallet holds everything fine including change and not as stupid bulky that it bothers me in my back pocket.

Pretty sure you used to be able to get the polycarbonate ones for $30-$40...I picked mine up on Massdrop (now "Drop") and would never have paid silly money for them because of the simple construction. I bought an aluminum one and a poly one and I know for sure I didn't pay anywhere near that for either of them.

It was a great transition to slim wallets, but I moved on to a minimalist leather wallet that's much comfier. The Ridge is a brick.

They aren't really made to keep in your back pocket. These are for front pocket carry, or jacket, etc.

Part of the point of these, is to transition your wallet to your front pockets.

I can't imagine how/why, but....apparently a lot of men sit down ON their wallets, for long periods of time. Which means your hips aren't level and pressure is unequally distributed into your sacrum and lower back. This can cause imbalance in the length of your muscles and can also contribute to back pain and even swollen discs.

Still sporting the Velcro Vans trifold wallet. Works great to carry everything including cash.

I don't get it either. I've never carried my wallet in my back pocket. Nevermind the 50(?) keys in my other front pocket.

or just put it in your hand pocket and not your back pocket? I have never put my wallet in my back pocket. neverunderstood the back pocket thing.

I always felt annoying to have my wallet in my back pocket plus I am ocd about someone picking my pocket or it just falling out lmao. I have always carried it in my inside deep Jacket Pocket/or outside if it has zipper. if I am wearing one or front pocket. Always felt safer and less annoying to me.

I have code 118 wallet. I love this thing. I’ve owned a lot of slim wallets. This is by far my most favorite.

Actually just ordered this. I really have a wallet I haven't let go off lmao but its beaten up and my credit cards fall out sometimes. Gotta let go. I like this one. Looks simple, slim, hold some cash and bunch of cards. Used 20% off code on it. SAVE20.

I've never put my wallet in back pocket, seems like pure insanity. Maybe I'll get a second one and stuff it with nonsense, put both in my back pocket and have an uncomfortable, but even keeled sitting experience. Imagine being a software developer sitting 8 hours a day with a wallet up your ass. I have an old leather wallet my dad bought me when I was 15, can't even feel the thing anymore. These look like having another cell phone in my pocket.

lifetime warranty btw. wish the titanium version was available when I got mine.

I have an Articulate slim wallet that I spent maybe $20 on and have been using for years. It's thin, convenient (outside card slot and removable money clip), and soft. The girlfriend is still salty that I moved to it a few months after she spent a bunch of money buying some Italian leather wallet for me.

This is the one I was referring to earlier: https://lmleathergoods.com/collections/wallets-daily-carry/products/the-thompson-wallet

All I need. Made in the USA. Lifetime warranty as well. You can find `em cheaper, but YMMV on the quality. I've been rocking mine for a few years now and all of the stitching is still mint. Feels a lot better to me in the pocket than the hard chonky ones but if you need RFID protection you'll have to look elsewhere.

Having a wallet in my back pocket never bothered me. My wallet is not very thick.

I tried the Ridge wallet but ended up hating it. The method to remove the cards by fanning them out then pulling the specific card just seemed off to me and I didn't like the design.

I ended up switching to Trayvax and I think they have a much better design of removing cards and are overall better quality. Trayvax is also expensive but worth checking out: https://www.trayvax.com

lol... My wallet looks like George Costanza's wallet...
Still sporting a fatty front wallet with external money clip. With all these slim wallets, it is nearly impossible to find a replacement that works.

i bought a cheapo swiss wallet on amazon years and years ago and it finally wore out. I went looking for a new one and settled on...the exact same one since it worked so well and met all my requirements. a fatty wallet that can dock a slim one would be baller for days you know you wont need anything but ID, CC, etc.

I could go for that or even something like a ridge wallet that stacks and links so you can expand it as much as you want.

I came across these guys in a YouTube ad last night. Anyone have experience with them?

https://ekster.com/

Similar concept to Ridge, but with more varied materials and a bit more traditional of an esthetic.

they very similar to code wallets. But the difference that made me go with code wallets was lifetime warranty vs 1 yr.

I've been using the Stow wallet for a couple of years now. No moving parts, holds lots of cards, and all aluminum. You can have it a custom logo made as well.

Not too bad in price and great service. Very easy to pull out whatever card you want to use. I had a custom logo made and they misspelled my [H] name. So they told me to keep the one with the mistake and they made a new one for me.
