the Epic Winter Sale is the much better sale because they are giving out an additional 25% coupon...sale prices I'm guessing are the same across both platforms but if pricing is your main consideration then Epic wins

If pricing was my main concern, then I'd just sail the seven seas. Steam won people over from pirating and it sure wasn't because people just felt like spending money instead.

video game piracy is rising not falling so Steam has not done anything to prevent people from doing it

It was back in the day when pirating was a lot more rampant. It's small potatoes compared to then. Steam offers a much better service.

One time coupon or unlimited use?

a few things I'm considering this year

also if anyone's interested Middle Earth: Shadow of War definitive edition is down to $9
and already mentioned Black Mesa for $5 is no brainer if you liked original Half Life.

It's rising for the same reason as movie and TV piracy is rising: multiple exclusive store fronts made piracy more convenient than installing and maintaining multiple store fronts and accoints.

Picked up triangle strategy. I'm a sucker for tactical jrpgs.

I see a decent amount of reviews lament the amount of dialogue. I'm going to guess new to jrpgs lol.

Went with Crusader Kings 3

In the mood for a good strategy game. Any good?

EU4 (with one of the good overhaul mods) is still the best of all the Paradox games. Vic3 has the most potential - but years away from that.

Cyberpunk has me interested for $30. Of course I just started Andromeda which I got for $5, and I am still only halfway through AC Valhalla. Too many games to play, too little time!

Alas, I am going to end up adding this to the library.

Just got a legends pinball machine. Any packs which are highly recommended to add to stream to the machine?
Sorry I don't have any input on this, but I am interested to hear your experience. Trying to decide which pinball game to snag.

I picked up Nioh: Complete Edition and Remnant: From the Ashes, thinking about buying Nioh 2 but will probably wait for the next sale after playing these two.
