The queen deserves a new card not a used one...
Someone called for a queen?

So closer to the true value of the product? Or MSI (or BB) just taking big ol' losses on cards? I've noticed a lot of the cards BB had for big discounts ($450 3070ti) seem to be MSI brand.
They listed a 3070 Ti for $450 a few weeks ago and pulled it after a couple of hours. I think they are meant to be TotalTech deals that get listed for everyone accidentally.

I get a TT deal, but wouldn't they want to in some way advertise this so as to get more TT memberships?

Wonder if they still let you refund the TT account after buying a GPU with it.
Last I knew they changed the terms to revoke any discounts you received during your membership if cancelled before 1 year, which would reduce your refund or even leave you owing more.

3090 Ti B stock got a bit closer to reality, finally. Hard to keep those at ~$2k with new going for $1100.

Yeston 3080 10 GB, $300 ($500 - 200 GC). Mobile checkout only.
Sale starts 10:30 PM EST.

edit: Some people are saying their orders are being cancelled and it's sold out. Before the sale time even started.
Now this is the sketchy deal that I want to see more often in the future... with a little less sketch, preferable a brand I trust more than Yeston. Even with a need to use the 200GC in 90 days isn't horrible if you want to just build something now.

The waifu card, nice

I mean if it performs like a 3080 dafuq do I care what's on it. My rig is hiding behind my monitor, even though yeah it does have a clear glass panel not like I'm staring into it. But yeah, give me a brand that I've heard of before.

No doubt. If EVGA came out with a Belle Delphine pink dildo bath water edition 3090Ti that was priced at $900, I'd be the first one to jump on it (pun maybe intended?)

Not a deal per say but noticed Best Buy has FE cards ,even the 3060ti, available for pickup in a week (for me). So seems you can order them now beyond existing in store stock.

pretty sure there is a 10% coupon code out there when using a BB credit card.

I just found out that EVGA will stop making GPUs. I would recommend not buying any EVGA products. They could be out of business soon.
BStock warranty is 1 year, should be fine.
Their regular warranty is 3 years, should also be fine... Probably.

The people with 5-10 year extended warranties are in trouble.

Saw an XFX Swift 309 6700 XT in Best Buy tonight for 440 bucks and could not stop myself from buying it...

I disagree. Employees' morale will be low when a company is about to go out of business. You could be getting lousy service or crappy products. If your new card fails within 30 days of purchase, you are supposed to get a brand new card per what EVGA has always done, but people have reported it is no longer true. In other words, they just don't care anymore. But of course, everyone has a different budget for things like these.

Looks like my Belle Delphine limited model is out of the question now with EVGA bowing out :(

Not really, no worse than than anyone else still under warranty the way I see it. We're good until the company goes bankrupt.

I suppose it depends on how much you paid for that extended warranty. I got mine before the 2022 hike, and compared to the purchase of the card it's associated with, not really that much money in the grand scheme of things.

You really think that? My bet is 4090 in October at $1499. 4080 at $1000 next year. Of course things could change a lot between typing this and it actually happening.
I wish you were correct, turns out you underestimated Nvidia's prices ,)

With inflation I honestly expected the 4090 to be significantly more than the 1499 the 3090 launched at. Guess I was off base, but it looks like they plan to seriously close the gap we had between 3090 and 3080 pricing. All while making the lesser 4080 significantly lesser, so much so that it is unappealing. I won't be touching this generation anyway since I blew $1,900 on an evga ftw3 ultra 3090 (direct from evga, not scalped!) I was stupid and desperate during the early 2021 time period.

I hope to see an MSI 4090 ~$1800 between Oct-Dec. Got some Amazon money to spend.

was going to say what's so weeby about that, I mean sure the box maybe but the top of the card simply has an interesting artistic design to the fan shroud... and then I saw the back plate.

Still at this point in the game I wouldn't pay more than the Nvidia $699 MSRP for a 10G 3080, yeah I know the 4080s are idiotically priced at $1200 ($900 for the 4080 with the 7 scratched off and replaced with an 8 but still).

I finally caved, after hearing about the 4000 series pricing and marketing, i got petty and ordered a 6900 XT, with tax it was 740.00 or so, plus a $20.00 mail in rebate, but I'm not holding my breath for it. Went with the MSI Gaming X Trio. Was leaning towards an XFX Swft 319 but couldn't find any reviews and it looked like barely a step up from reference. This will be my first AMD card in a while.

It did have a 3% off instant discount, but I don't see it, so I'm guessing that expired. Still a good price IMO

EVGA's 30 series stock is now down to 3 models. Was 8 a week or two ago. Guessing they will be completely empty within another couple weeks.

Non b stock? Only saw 3 new 3070 this morning.
Oh shit my bad, I didn't look deeper into it, saw numbers next to a bunch of models didn't realize EVGA lists them even though they're all out of stock where as B-stock tends to show you numbers for things that are in stock.

That said, seeing a bunch of 3070s in the b-stock I wonder if a lot of that is due to people stepping up on cards that got reduced a bunch.
