I mean I just saw a Youtube video about Windows 11 describing the issues. Then I saw of course they had come out with patches for the Ryzen CPUs and also read you have to buy an adapter for Alder Lake CPUs to prevent bending.

So, is this acceptable for billion dollar businesses or should companies just wait a bit longer to refine before coming out with a product?

depends, are people buying the products? if so then no, it came out at the correct stage for the market. Every product has some issues and now with the internet a 0.5% problem is some youtubers rise to fame to point it out. Issues ive had with new stuff has been taken care of by warranties so i don't sweat it much for consumer level stuff IMO. Even at my job, one more pcb revision would be great but sometimes you gotta stop and release it or youll never be done.

This is only true in a real free market where
  1. Customers have full information available.
  2. There is actual competition, so customers can choose an alternative.
  3. Customers actually make decisions that are in their own best interests.
It's very, very common for at least one of those to fail, so you end up with crap products that no one is happy with.
