So does this mean this deal is only for new members? Or can members who haven't had game pass in several months still be eligible?
 
I'm not sure- others have said they've been able to do it multiple times on the same account, as long as there was a gap of time where they were unsubscribed.

However, that has not been the case for me. I haven't been subscribed in quite a while now and I cannot re-use the deal. Logging into my account removes the offer and the price changes to $9.99
 
Now i think about it, maybe i didn't have this specific deal before. at one time i did the ultimate for 3 months for 1$ and i did for pc for 1$ for 1 month, but this one might be my first time.

Did it work for you even though you were a previous member?
It does mention this under the terms section

Apparently it's because they render the apps @ 30fps (WHY?) but it's a pretty simple fix. Add the app to your list of programs for individual 3d settings. Change them to fixed refresh, highest available monitor refresh, set an fps cap 2-3 below your max. Vsync off as well.

This works. Thanks! This has been driving me nuts forever. Seems like Windows UWP apps don't play nice with VRR still.

I just got it as well but 3 months for a dollar Had to do it through my phone bc my desk is not setup yet for my pc. Hopefully I don't have any issues when I first log into game pass. I seem to always have issues with it wanting me to update windows to the latest versions so annoying
 
So my game pass is set to expire April. Is there anymore deals like this or even the 1 dollar for a month? I remember someone saying earlier in the thread they often do the 1 dollar for 3 months deal?
 
Looks like it is currently 1 Month (Ultimate) for $1.. at least that is what comes up when I click the link

I decided after my initial 3 month trial that the subscription is worth paying. I've had it for a few years now and have never felt that I didn't get my money's worth.

How long does the sub need to lapse before you can rejoin with the 3 month one dollar deal? I don't see the 1 dollar for three months but I do see the 1 dollar for one month?

Short of letting my XBox Gold sub expiring, I cannot get this anymore. However, I have had almost 3 years of this with the one dollar offer (Bought three years of gold and upgraded to this for $1) so I am just going to do gold for the next year. No idea how long you have to wait otherwise......

I see my 3 month sub for 1 dollar ended today. Was more than worth it as I played around 5 different games that all cost 20 to 50 dollars, and some were first day release, amazing value best ever! lol however, don't care to get it again until something I want to play comes on it but wondering if you can keep using the 1 dollar offer 1 month or even the 1 dollar for 3 months offer if you were a previous member but canceled?

You have to let the account lapse. However, not sure why that would be a big deal.

As for how long you have to wait to get the deal again, no clue. I got it for $1 when they first did a few years ago, and recently did it again. I assume maybe once per 365 days or something?

That sounds about right, I feel I get it every year for the holidays.
 
Good info, thanks! Thinking of trying it myself soon.... I didn't start guardians of the galaxy yet and it already arrived on game pass! I paid $30 for it.

If I let my XBox Gold sub to lapse, I cannot use it during that time and risk losing it, right? I have had Gold for at least 10 years straight.

I don't think it needs to lapse for an entire yr. I remember getting it for 3 months in the summer With the 1 dollar for one month deal Then got the deal in Jan of this yr for 1 dollar for 3 months.

Awesome thanks for the heads up. I wonder how long it'll be going for? There isn't much I want to play.. The last good game on game pass for me was tunic.
 
Perfect timing. My previous $1 for one month subscription expired yesterday. I am good until September now for $1
