[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears for Nvidia, AMD, Intel, PS5, XBOX

Wow... I completely missed on 11/15 EVGA said it was my time to step up to the 3080 ... and just saw that email now.

I was in the middle of stepping up a RTX 3060 to 3060 Ti for my uncle, I'm guessing I just saw the email and was like "yeah yeah I know" or something, no idea how I missed it.

Hopefully support can help, has anyone been as dumb as me here?

Letting it slide for a month is pretty extreme, so dont know if they will allow that still, maybe you will have to go back in the queue

YMMV of course, but no harm in sending support and email asking to see if they can help. They did give me a 1 time allowance when I missed my email. If you don't ask, you will not get.

Yup, first thing I did before coming here - they may take a day or two to respond but EVGA’s support has always been helpful to me in the past. Can’t blame them if they say no, but I’ll probably never have a 3080 in this lifetime if they do :(

Almost identical to last week. Tons of 10 series and 900 series cards. No idea where these are coming from anymore.
I was tempted to buy one of the 900's just to see what kind of condition it's in.
My guess is they were warehousing some for RMAs for long term warranty holders but given the market, they probably decided to deplete that stock to min required and offload them as B stock which have a much lower warranty liability. It's more money and less liability, plus if a 9/10x high end GPU breaks down they can probably replace most of them with the 2060 12 GB parts, a win win for most of these users except may be 1080 ti variants though you still gain RT and DLSS for slightly lower overall performance.

Did EVGA get rid of step up of the non-Ti 3080s? Guessing it's due to lack of inventory?

If not, they should have. The overwhelming majority of people in that queue will be told the product is EOL and possibly their step up cancelled. What I am curious about, is if all those people will be allowed to shift their queue to 4k series.

I got a PS5 from playstation direct today :)I applied on the link I posted a while ago and last night I got an email that event was taking place today where I would get a chance to buy a ps5. At the start I openned the page, and I was shown in queue. Waited less then than 10 minutes and it was my turn. Got through the check out process without problems, free expedited shipping as well, since I have ps+.

FML.

Unfortunately we are unable to re-start the process step-up. There is also no way to re-join the step-up queue, as its been past 90 days. I apologize for any inconvenience.

B-Stock, 30 series just now.
Checkout is bugging again.

edit: 20 series @ 8:08 PM.

edit: 2060's @ 8:12 PM.

edit: 16's, 10's, and 900's @ 8:15 PM.

edit: Lowend GT cards and some 1060's @ 8:23 PM.

Looks like they raised some of the prices? I don't remember 2060S being $400. 2070S also seemed bumped a little.

Another B-Stock tonight. So far just 30 and 20 series.
EVGA has ramped up their spam timers again and added a new error page. My 20-30 second refresher got banned.

This is probably the last one until after new years.

What does it mean when you click verify account and nothing happens?
It means it's sold out or they detected you're refreshing/botting so they throw you in that loop. Someone mentioned it here a while back and it works pretty well for me if you find the item that is dropping, open another incognito page with that item, login, verify, possibly purchase instead of getting stuck in that loop.

Ugh missed another one. it'd be way less annoying without the verify loop. I've tried logged in, logged out, incognito (all on different drops) and always a loop for 5-45 minutes then sold out.

I believe the key is getting there as they drop. I happened to be browsing gpus when it popped up a blue link. I clicked it and was only “waiting” for about 15 seconds. Checked out and even had time to add my 10% coupon.

Missed a $200 1080 on Ebay yesterday because Gmail decided to flag it as a spam. Just that one email though -- not any of the other random ebay alerts I receive.
Perfect.

eBay doesn't send alerts instantaneously anyways (not that I can figure, anyways). So you'd probably have already missed it by the time it came across your inbox.

It was a distill alert.
None of my other distill alerts get flagged, from other websites or even other ebay alerts. Just that one specific alert. Gmail was like, nah, screw you.

I added a non-spam filter for the "Distill" keyword. I usually do that to be safe, but must have forgot on this account. Really unfortunate timing.

Don't know if anyone cares anymore but GameStops all got a ton of xboxs that they will be putting on the shelf next Thursday.
In store? Because I didn't get a notification about an online stock availability, which I would otherwise get as a Pro member.

Found this page, and according to it there are no stores within 150 miles of my location that were a part of this...

chip shortage, omicron, and ethereal 2.0 delay kept the bubble alive. I still refuse to buy a video card until the videocard and crypto markets crash, likely in apocalyptic fashion. Starting to see the signs now with miners beginning to dump cards, whales selling off, double top technical pattern forming. Anyone know the best place to buy puts on crypto?

Fixit discord, which accurately predicted most of the recent BB restocks, claims there's a restock of 20k cards coming. This seems like an unbelievably large number for a single restock of a single store.
BB missed their restock window yesterday, so very likely today between 10 AM and Noon EST. Unless they are skipping for the holiday.

Antonline has some new bundles. Some come with the i5 or i7 now

https://www.antonline.com/evga/graphicscards/bundles

The ANT bundles have been reasonably available over the past few days. They still go in and out of stock, but at the time of typing this they have 3070 and 1650 bundles in stock, and I saw 3060, 3060Ti and 3090 bundles available this week. Nice to see something available for more than a few minutes, but pricing obviously still too high if you don't want or can't use the additional bundle items. The bundles seem like a decent enough deal though if you're starting a build from scratch and don't mind having a spare keyboard and mouse.

The other strategy for the bundle is buying a cheap one (1650 @ $330 is in stock rn, which is only a $120 markup if you have no use for the PSU) and using it to Step Up thru EVGA registration. Verify details but I believe the SKUs are eligible and Antonline is an authorized EVGA dealer.

Edit: Antonline is on the EVGA authorized reseller list

Edit: Antonline is not on the authorized list, but apparently IF they bought from an authorized distributor (which is likely) you'd be able to step up thru EVGA.

Antonline is at the very bottom of the list. I just checked to register a product. I don't know if that means anything, but well they are on the list.
