Retailers Paywall Consoles, GPU's, Black Friday Deals Behind Expensive Annual Passes

On the "Member Monday" page today.

Best Buy Totaltech™ exclusive access.
Hard-to-find PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch OLED consoles are available exclusively to Totaltech™ members later this morning. Check back soon.
Last time they did that the PS5 was gone before I could switch apps. The switch was in stock most of the day though.

Doesn't matter, anyone running a bot paid the $200 too. Pocket change for them.
Not even that now. BB added a $19.99/mo version of TotalTech, so think 5-10 accounts each with a month of TT for less than an annual for single account.

Have a friend/parent/spouse, then make separate accounts and stick TT monthly on each one.

Finally, bots aren't what are eating BB drops, it's the mass of people running one of the assistive chrome extensions (NerdSpeak, Falcodrin, GPUdrops) that reduces queue time etc

That's kind of annoying, since you didn't need TotalTech to pick up the OLED Switch on launch day. I managed to get one in store.

Ironically enough, they are the only one that isn't doing that.
Well, I know bestbuy isn't paywalling GPU's because a few weeks ago I was able to cart one and get to the final confirm screen and it never said I had to buy their Totaltech. So other than the ridiculous prices at some retailers (MicroCenter, Newegg), who is actually paywalling GPU's?

BestBuy dropped PS5's today, pretty good quantity, and Totaltech was NOT needed.
There's a chance GPU's might drop any moment
