Far Cry 6

We are here in ubisofts trajectory:

It's genuinely weird how the money in FC6 works. By the time you level up enough to actually buy the better weapons, you would have to have done enough random quests to have found nearly all of them. Once I hit level 10 or so, I had like $12K. I just turned around and literally bought everything all of the stores had. Now money does absolutely nothing and it's been like that for a while. I'm about to embark on the final missions (I won over the 3 groups to help you) and there isn't anything else worth doing.

I completed the game this morning. The final mission sneaks up on you a little since it's actually like 3 missions combined. It's a pretty standard final level for a shooter game and it's yet another instance where those damned helicopters keep showing up to annoy you. Helicopters and fire are definitely the two things I grew to hate the most in FC6.

After you win there are a bunch of missions where you basically play a base invasion again, so that's amusing if you enjoyed those. I think I'm done, though. I put 50'ish hours into the game and that's plenty.

Finished the game at around 20 hours, it was a decent game, better than Far Cry 5 at least. Does anybody know when the Season Pass Villains will be released?

Still need to complete some side missions but couldn't be bothered at this point.

I think I'm probably going skip most of the side activities to try to get through the last missions and finish up. Honestly, getting kind of bored of the game. I realized too that I never even used like 90% of the weapons in the game because they were just objectively worse.

I dont bought game yet,but planning buy this with Call of duty vanguard. My question will be about raytracing. Is any sense to turn on DXR shadows any performance impact? I am planning only turn on Reflections, without shadows. I have 3090 rtx.

Yup, that's a definite problem with the game. Any unique weapon that lacks armor-piercing ammo is basically not even worth trying. Early in the game unique weapons are cool and powerful. Yet once you build a single non-unique weapon that has multiple level 3 and 4 parts you never need them again. IMO, they needed to actually lock down some of the weapon accessories. Not every gun should be able to be equipped with a scope, compensator, silencer, laser dot, etc. Some (like the SKS) look ridiculous with that stuff on them. They should have made it so some weapons can have certain upgrades while others can't. That and they should have just totally scrapped the different ammo types except for the shotguns, too.

Did his bike seem like it had more power than all others to you?
I dunno, I barely got it out of the garage when I got attacked by a soldier who blew it up almost immediately. It did have that cool minigun, though.

I was hoping it would be able to be spawned later but I didn't see it available.

I barely used vehicles throughout the game. I used the helicopter a little bit early on, but only used cars and the like when the game forced me to. Parachuting in basically replaced the need for them. Plus, the terrain is pretty rough. By the time you manage to find a path for a car, you might as just sprint instead.

Yeah, I typically just airdrop in basically anywhere I need to go. Way faster.

Fairly large patch today. We'll see if they fixed the texture issues.. It's quite large because it also updates the HD texture pack.. So here's hoping.

It seems fixed.. Although this is the first time i've played since upgrading to Windows 11 as well.

So it looks like people playing the Danny Trejo mission were early LOL
We are currently deploying Title Update 2 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. We are planning to release this patch on PC, Stadia and Luna as soon as possible. This update includes bug fixes, performance improvements and upcoming content that will release in the coming weeks.

This update also removes the Dani & Danny vs Everybody mission as it was accidentally released too early. We look forward to players checking out the final version in the future.

Patch sizes (based on development environment)

Today:
PlayStation 4: Between 49 GB and 60 GB depending on region
PlayStation 5: ~90 GB
Xbox One: between 13 GB and 19 GB
Xbox Series X/S: between 14 GB and 20 GB

TBD:
PC: 54 GB + 47 GB for HD Texture Pack

Bug fixes
General

• Fixed an issue that could cause the Auto Turret gadget to be permanently equipped when loading a save file.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the Wingsuit to not become available if the player built the Hideout Network facility level 1 before applying the launch day patches.

Photo Mode
• Fixed an issue that could cause connected controllers to continuously vibrate under certain circumstances when opening Photomode.
• Fixed an issue that could cause players to become stuck in Photomode when failing to find a Co-Op partner during matchmaking.

Missions
• Fixed an issue that could cause a looping loading screen during the “Backseat Driver” mission.

• Fixed an issue that could cause Miguel to disappear and the mission progress to halt under certain circumstances during the “Second Son” mission.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the controls UI elements to appear on screen after the cinematic during the “Harpoon” mission.
• Fixed an issue that could cause Paulo, Talia and Bicho to fall through the stage (but continue to perform, the show must go on!) when shooting them with Discos Locos during the “Guerrilla Radio” mission.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the quest objective to disappear when fast travelling after watching the cinematic during the “Bullet Points” mission.
• Fixed an issue that could cause Miguelina to become unresponsive during the “Sincerely Lorenzo: Obsession” mission.
• Fixed an issue that could make the Workbench unresponsive during the “Juan of a kind” mission.
• Fixed an issue where destroying all airplanes in the area before starting the mission “Fly Ball” could cause the mission progress to halt.
• Fixed an issue that could cause Raiza to become stuck during the “Du or Die” mission.

Co-Op
• Fixed an issue that could cause “Play Together” to stay greyed out if joining a session had previously failed.
• Improved game responsiveness after extended Co-Op sessions.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the game to freeze for 60 seconds when exiting a post-campaign Co-Op session.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the UI to become unresponsive when trying to accept a Co-Op invitation from a player that had previously hosted a Co-Op session on Stadia.
• Fixed an issue that could cause players on Stadia to receive a Trapper-D1534951 error when trying to join a Co-Op session.
• Fixed an issue that could prevent players on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One to join a Co-Op session when already playing in a Co-Op session.

New Patch normal textures or HD textures still not loading correctly for me on RTX 3080,same as on release.Easy way to test, is to change weapon a couple times and look at textures on gun.

Are you on windows 10 or 11?

If the patch didn’t fix it I’m wondering if it’s windows 11 that does. Because I’m not having the issue now, and the only change is windows 11 and/or the patch.

Anyone else experiencing stutters after the latest patch?

Edit: Ok, I figured it out. For anyone having an intermittent stutter about once every second or two, disable the in-game overlay via the Ubisoft Connect settings menu. Now back to smoothness!

I don't even know if I'm gonna be able to finish this game. It's not bad it's just.. tired, and woefully unbalanced. I kinda knew this should've been one to wait for a ~$30 sale for.

I'm glad I only did the subscription. I got my money/time back by just playing some more Valhalla.

Honestly, the biggest issue with the game is just the lack of difficulty. It's an insanely easy game, and for a game like this.. That's not a good thing.

Yeah, the enemy AI is atrocious. But I do find it enjoyable with the HUD turned off. Still not a difficult game, but it's fun. I can see myself finishing it.

The map and terrain detail is what I've enjoyed the most in the Far Cry series all the way back to the first one(I've played them all including primal). I often find myself running around on foot or horseback just to soak in the details of my surroundings. After awhile I'm thinking man it's time to get back to the mission I guess.
