Vicarious Visions to drop its name and fully merge with Blizzard

Oh! I didn't' realize they did the development for Diablo 2: Resurrected.

They have done a lot of solid games, over the years.

Their Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games for Gameboy Advance, were some of the best games on the system. THPS2 was a launch game and was tons of fun.

Well that's a Wet Willie with a shit covered finger.

There goes that great reputation, now people covering it will have to say "don't forget they used to be" with every mention of them as they burn up with the Blizzard meteor.

Hardly? They've been around since 1996.
Activision, the downfall of so many great developers.
It's been a slow burn in that case considering they have been owned by Activision since 2005. This new development is just the fact that they now are being merged with Blizzard instead of continuing their existence as a separate studio.

Blizzard is needing a lot of new developers because of how many left the studio in recent years. They've been gutted.

I think a lot of Blizzard worked on D2R. Diablo 4 was put on hold so the people working on it could instead focus on D2R after the team originally designated to make D2R was dissolved

Lets be real, nobody ever heard of Vicarious Visions before they worked on Diablo 2, maybe the Tony Hawk game too.

I liked the Skylander games, they were a delightfully modern twist on Gauntlet.
