I like g502, it copes good with games like Dota2 where you have multiple units to control.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

Without decent software, it doesn't matter how good the hardware is.
No, it does if you want the increased polling rates, DPI changes beyond the default values, etc. You can use it but you may as well have bought a shit mouse since you won’t get all the extra upgrades without the software.It's... a mouse. Unlike something such as a GPU, it doesn't NEED you to install the software to use it.
It still requires software. But a bloated software package from the manufacturer is optional if you don’t want any of the additional features.It's... a mouse. Unlike something such as a GPU, it doesn't NEED you to install the software to use it.
Newer G502 Hero won't work at all with LGS. They require Ghub.LGS has remained on my PC after reading about GHUB issues.
It does everything I need, theres no reason to change.

I'm not a pro gamer, but I like my DPI in the 12,000 range. So I truly don't give a single flying fuck what pro gamers need, I want to reach from end to end of my 3 horizontal monitors without moving my wrist. Most DPI value above what most mice let you change in windows are almost pointless for 99% of gamers. If you look at most pro gamers settings, they neve ruse these stupid high 500000000000000000000000000000000 DPI settings that mice advertise now.
Logitech mice are solid and last, not like crappy PC Master Race mice that have squeaky wheels after a few months of use.
No, you buy a brand that doesn't have shit software.Your a unique case, my response was to Mchart saying buy a crap mouse then cause the software sucks anyways, when I am sure few use most of the software features but make a couple settings here and there and for that it works fine.
I don't think a brand without shit software exists, unless you count those cheap $5 mice that simply don't have any software. No, you buy a brand that doesn't have shit software.
Software has never been shit for me when I have had to use it, just worked for setting some button changes, disabling some other options and set my DPI to 1 level with not changing up and down, worked and never had to touch it again...No, you buy a brand that doesn't have shit software.
No, GHUB is 100% shit. If you have a logitech product that still works with the LGS you're fine. However, the new products don't. When my current hardware breaks i'll be moving to Razer for my mouse + keyboard. The software isn't great, but at least it works, doesn't randomly dump your profiles because it's not still in 'beta' status, etc.Software has never been shit for me when I have had to use it, just worked for setting some button changes, disabling some other options and set my DPI to 1 level with not changing up and down, worked and never had to touch it again...
It is the same as saying AMD drivers are crap, never buy their cards, but you can find plenty of people on both side who have had zero problems and just as many who claim to have found every single bug the software has.
This. I've found that Razer's software sucks, Logitech's software sucks, Corsair iCUE really sucks, etc.I don't think a brand without shit software exists, unless you count those cheap $5 mice that simply don't have any software.
iCue is the worst, as it has hooks into WMIC performance counters, and still has the issue of constantly polling hardware and makes it where CPU's can't go into idle.This. I've found that Razer's software sucks, Logitech's software sucks, Corsair iCUE really sucks, etc.
I think all lightspeed models do as well
Yes.Is installing a G hub software that much of a problem? I just bought G 518.
