Title pretty much says it all. Released 3 months back, and all other places have it for $60 that I've seen (Steam Store, Epic, GOG, etc...)

Here's a link:

For those unfamiliar with Humble Bundle, they aren't a key-reseller. They make deals with developers and publishers for a drastically reduced price, and give part or most of the proceeds to charities. Buy on their site (Paypal accepted) and you are instantly emailed the link to your Steam code that you can redeem and download in your Steam library, or gift to someone else.

You can download a limited demo for Outriders on steam for free, but many of the reviews I've checked out said the game gets better as you play it and start getting better loot.
Loot, Shooter, Weird Sci-Fi Story... No tax at Humble Bundle...I'm in.

I played the game co-op on series X, Xbox live.

I really enjoyed it. It’s like gears of war and Diablo had a baby.

There are at least three memorable, big boss fights.

I tend to shy away from key resellers. I've been burnt by them in the past.
I have never once had any trouble and I buy 90% of my games through the well-known reputable key resellers. CDkeys is a very reputable site that's been around for a very long time and have excellent customer service.

CDkeys is pretty reputable at this point. Been around years and never heard a complaint. Never had a problem with them myself either.
They're also commonly thrown into the heap of "gray market resellers," which turned out to be unjustified IME. Spoke with a SEGA representative a few years ago who dispelled that by stating CDkeys actually gets distribution from SEGA just like they would with Steam, Humble, etc. I can't speak for all the keys on the website of course, but if publishers/developers are distributing via CDkeys, I'll take that peace of mind over a place like G2A for example, who have a history riddled with stolen credit cards being used to acquire and sell keys.

That's great. Your anecdotal experience doesn't cancel out my anecdotal experience. I'm not telling anyone else to share my opinion on key reseller websites. For those that do tend to not trust key-resellers, I offer the OP as an alternative. For everyone no matter what site: Use paypal or something other than your actual debit/credit card.

This is what happened to me. The site I bought a key from stole my CC info to presumably buy more keys. It had a similar name to CDkey, can't remember as it was 7-8 years ago. Got the money back, but it was kind of a pain and took a few weeks.

Fast forward a year or so, and I was selling a key for Assassins Creed Syndicate (IIRC) I got with a GPU on ebay. I later noticed the buyer bought the same game from several people by looking at their feedback, and knew I was going to have issues. A month or so later, I got hit with a CC chargeback stating the card was stolen. I had sent the key via snail-mail as well as through email to satisfy ebay's rules, which was dumb on my part. The letter returned as the address didn't exist, even though it was the verified paypal address. So paypal allowed someone to sign up with a stolen CC and a fake address. The worst part, Paypal then hit me with a $20 "investigation fee"... So essentially I paid $20 so paypal could facilitate my game key being stolen. As a seller, Paypal will screw you over in a heart beat. As a buyer, paypal will let you get away with murder.

A person that was buying multiple keys of the same game was likely working for a key-reseller website. So yes, I got burnt by them twice. And just because a key reseller accepts paypal, that doesn't mean they don't steal CC #'s from other customers or places on the dark web to buy keys and screw over at least 2 people with every transaction. Again, this is just my take on it.

Lesson 1: always use paypal/amazon/google payment methods when buying on websites. If the website only accepts CC's, don't use it (like I did, and regretted it)

Lesson 2: don't sell keys on ebay.

By the way, the game is pretty good. I haven't played any multiplayer yet, but seems to cater more toward it.
I will try not to spoil anything below.

It gives me a lot of old Gears of War vibes when it comes to scenery, story, and some aspects of gameplay. 3rd person shooter on a post-apocalyptical planet, tons of chest-high walls for cover, many of the enemies/aliens are similar to GoW too. In fact, I keep finding myself trying to get the quick-reload bonus, but it's not there. The likeness shouldn't be surprising since Epic once owned the developer, and they did work on a Gears game.

It expands in several ways though. First noticeable is the supernatural powers you get. In this way, I liken it to maybe Bioshock, only more in-depth and tied to your gear. There are several ways you can build your character, and the choice of powers you get is determined after the prologue, where you can choose what type of "Altered" you want to be. There is a skill tree that helps specialize your character even more.

The second way it differs is the loot/gear system. The higher-tier weapons and armor all have attributes and mods that tend to buff the supernatural powers you get. You can't change things like magazine size or optics on weapons, but you can change how guns operate, what skills they buff, what level they are, and their rarity level. Most of that goes for armor upgrading as well. You will find tons of loot, but you have a pretty generous inventory capacity to haul loot around during missions and will allow you to deal with them in your own time.

Another thing to note is the "Tier" system in place of traditional game difficulty. While tier 1 and 2 are basically Easy and Normal respectively, there are 13 more tiers above those. Those tiers are locked initially but they open up as you collect more gear and increase your player's stats. You can change tiers on the fly, and it will not just change the difficulty, but it will affect things like the rarity of loot drops and the max level you can raise your gear to. This really pushes the replay value, as you can re-do side-quests at any time (change your tier up for better loot) or you can restart the whole campaign and keep your on-hand loot and gear. Or, of course, you could start from scratch with a different type of altered and have multiple saved characters.

All in all, I like it. There's a little bit of glitchiness seen here and there, but it's not enough to really annoy me. worth <$40 IMHO
