EVGA 3060 Combo available for $779.00
Wow, take off the $90 power supply, and you almost got yourself a $700 3060 with a "gaming" keyboard and mouse that you probably don't want... oh yeah 1 year of xbox live... oh wait scratch that 3 months only

This is he one that came today. I havent plugged it in yet
Edit: damn these pictures suck

Make sure your cyberpower PC fan headers are hooked up to the correct ports. I bought three PCs there and that was my only real complaint. They seems to just arbitrarily hook up the fan and pump headers to the nearest header and not the correct header. AIO PUMP should be connected to PUMP fan header and wasn’t. CPU fan was to system fan etc.

Thanks Ill check that out. Not sure what the point of a 120mm aio is anyway lol

Well its certainly better than the teensy air heatsinks that Asus, Dell, and some other brands have been using.
My other Cyber has an led cooler that looks like an oem on a Ryzen3600
So they can advertise it as "watercooled".
Yeah for hose who dont know what a proper water cooled system is it will help sell
I think it’s less likely to get destroyed in shipping.
On my IbuyPower the heatsink bent to the side in shipping. I replaced the MB myself instead of returning since shipping damage was the issue and likely happen again and waste a month in the process. Thanks Amazon for next day Shipping. Also it had some issue with windows install making it so that I couldnt go into bios. I thought M.2 was corrupt so I replaced that and a fresh 10 install on a better M,.2
The cpu was actually ripped from the socket. Somehow the GPU was perfect. Just glad Im not a computer novice so I didnt have to send it back

What cpu is in that cyberpower pc? If it’s an AMD processor with a 65w tdp it may be more than adequate for that. I have a 240 aio on my 5600x and it’s quite overkill. It runs much much cooler than my 10700k.

The watercooled one is an i5-10600KF 95W TPD I believe. I downgraded some components to save money
The Cyber with led OEM style air cooler has 3600 non X
The Tower air cooled Ibuy has a 5600X

Should be alright for a 10600k. I think I lost the lottery on my 10700k as it runs quite toasty at its necessary voltage for the overclock which is a fairly modest one at best, 4.9 ghz all core. Could get to 5 ghz but didn’t like the stress test temps.

Ill do some testing later when it cools off. 95F in my garage right now.
What are you cooling that with?
EVGA Queue. Signed up mid-December for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid. Got the email yesterday. It will be here Wednesday. Finally!
Congrats!!
I am building mine into a hybrid after I do testing i n stock form for comparison.

I think hybrids are the way to go if they’ll fit. I can’t imagine dumping 300+ Watts of heat inside my case. o_O
I have a Lian Li dynamic nini case for it, but It might end up in an open air rig.
Def wont fit in my SFF that already has an AIO on the cpu
Right now in my SFF I am using the cpu AIO to help rid the GPU exhaust from the case. Keep cpu temps up like 5-10c higher

Sliger S610 and S620 fit 3090's with AIO on CPU.

FYI the S610 is REAL tight with an AIO, though. I built into one, recently. its awesome. But dang its tight.

I have an aio on the cpu (Z63) in my CM NR200P and its tight too but workable. I switched from side mount to bottom ( I know not advisable) so that it was easier for me to swap in and out components.
GPU actually runs cooler this way with ventilated side or side off like I often do

I like those Sliger cases!

that's going to be hard on your pump. With the pump at the top of the loop, any air in the loop will sit in the pump.

The 10700k is being cooled by the arctic cooling liquid freezer II 240 and the 5600x is cooled by the msi mag 240r. The 10700k for the most part peaks in the mid 80s in stress tests and the 5600x peaks in the low 70s. Kind of wished I went with a 360 radiator for the 10700k.

Yeah I know its temporary till I get around to permanently switching cases. I have the case, but just didnt get around to it because I need a desk since its so much bigger and I cant sit PC on my speaker anymore

Im running Z63 280mm on 5900x and it hits 70 in stress test before I put it at bottom of case as an exhaust and it was intaking side
Right now it will hit mid 70s

I’ve been thinking about putting the hybrid kit on my 3080 XC3 and 3080 FTW3 but I can’t determine if it’ll actually fit at the top of my Antec P280 cases with the Noctua NH-D15 there. I haven’t been able to confirm that it’ll fit so haven’t pulled the trigger. It’s such an old case I’ll probably never know.

I’ve also read that due to pump noise and the fans it’s not really any quieter than the stock cooler unless you replace the fans but I can’t confirm that obviously.

I have heard about pump noise and I never hear any in my case. I have my AIO on bottom and its said to be noisy and bad for it, but I still dont hear it at all. My ears arent the best and I dont sit next to the PC. I only hear the GPU fans. Im not recommending rad on bottom of case though.

The biggest advantage of a 120mm AIO over something like the Hyper 212 is that the CPU heat is exhausted outside the case with the AIO. It’s important for OEM builds with fewer case fans and less ventilation.

Yeah this is true. In the pictures I posted you can see I deleted all the fans to add my own and save money. The only fan in the case as sent to me is the 120mm aio fan lol
I cant picture it running well like this though. Gpu probably wont be staying in this case anyway.

I think prebuilts will be the first thing to come back in decent supply. They are far less desirable to everyone - scalpers, miners, and gamers. Since the gpus are now LHR variants, the scalpers won't bother with them because they know they can't sell to miners (cutting their potential market in half or more,) and miners of course have no interest in a whole system to get one crippled gpu. I think we're still years off of standalone gpus being able to be bought from a store shelf or from newegg etc. on a whim.

When does Nvidia come out with the ETH only mining non gaming cards? I assume this was the real incentive to the LHR GPUs.

I don't think that's the play. I suspect this gen's LHR are the testing ground, and next gen will have 100% anti-mining measures baked in for anything not game related (even things like folding @ home won't work.) Then their CMP cards will actually have a draw. Current CMP cards are a difficult sell because they have 0 resale value. The only reason they sell now is because of desperation, but ideally you buy a gaming card because you can sell it off at the end of its useful mining life.

That doesnt sit right with me.
Have to agree, artificial limitations on any product are stupid and anti-consumer. To sell the mining gimped cards at the same price seems wrong if not deceptive.

If I ever get an opportunity to buy a 3080 or 3090, I'd want to have the mining capability to run it overnight / in the winter to make back some of the outrageous expense.

I wish I got into mining during the winter where the heat will he a benefit.
Hopefully this winter ETH mining is still a thing
