3070 ti Bestbuy: best time to check online

My understanding is that the FE 3070 ti at Bestbuy will be online only. Anyone know the best time of day to check bestbuy.com for supply drops? I am running the octoshop Chrome extension to improve the chances of getting one.
 
I believe there should be Telegram chat rooms mentioning whenever a new online drop occurs.

Be warned, back in October/November before the mining craze boomed I still couldn't get a card this way. Usually within a minute or so they would be out of stock. I'd be halfway through the checkout process when it fails. Also the whole process would be very slow due to the servers getting hammered.
 
Check Tu or Th around 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. BB used to drop every two weeks. I don't know about now. It took me 2 months to beat a bot and got a 3060 FE on Jan. Good luck.
 
It's 19% slower for 17% less cost than a 3080 FE, but the 3080 FE is unobtanium that only trickles in through Best Buy once in a blue moon. Don't use the 3080 FE price/perf to compare anything. You will likely see RTX 40 series Lovelace cards launch sometime in 2022 first before RTX 3080s can be found for 699 in any reasonable volume.
 
I don't know if many people were aware but Best Buy had everything from a 3060 to a 3090 today in store. I didn't see anything about it till about 4:00 a.m. this morning so I got up there as quick as I could and there ended up being about 120 of us and they had 160 cards so plenty left over. I think it was pretty much the same locations as the 3080 TI launch day. I really wanted a 3080 but of course that sold out quicker than any other card so I just grabbed a 3070. The 3070 TI just is really not worth it and in fact I had the voucher for the 3070 TI and just traded it to a guy for a 3070 while we were in line waiting for the store to open.
