[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears for Nvidia, AMD, Intel, PS5, XBOX

yeah seconds here mean weeks. And the site doesn't even work.

evga.com

I tried on and off this morning and finally got logged in to the EVGA and entered the queue. Probably number 877,231 in line.
I just finally had some free time to get on EVGA site. I'm sure I'll get notify for this sometimes in 2023.

AMD's site is super slow to process orders. Fedex still hasn't even received the package yet, to start shipping....

Should see how super slow they are at approving a RMA. Initially you can't cancel an order. Once it was finally delivered and after a week of back and forth and them needing picture proof the box wasn't open they finally issued a RMA

I impuilse bougth a 5950x off antonline. I dont need it but is someone wants it here let me know rofl. I will probably return it. The juiice of scoring shit is real, we have all been programmed now rofl.

Good luck! Bring brass knuckles just in case.

Isn't this crazy. I really never thought we would be in times where people line up to buy 1200 dollar GPU rofl. I really believe to some level programming us is real. I still haven't gotten in line but I have bought shit now that is hard to get even if I don't need it specially tech stuff haha. This all seems like an experiment and now I don't even expect to see cheap cards or them making so much that they can't sell enough.

This is why I now have an Xbox Series X - barely played my one X, got a series X because I felt like I had to turn my hours and hours of watching discords into something, and now Ive gotta upgrade my projector to enjoy it, which is going to take literally a year to save up to do :/ … however we’re told they’ll be just as hard to get then so here I am, telling myself “you won’t regret this at some point”

Same place I finally got my 5950x. It was part gambling and being told I couldn't have it. Now that I have the system built though the speed of that thing when doing gradle builds for android made me not have buyers remorse. Way over kill for gaming though lol.

5950x Shipped and Sold by Amazon is $799. EST delivery date for me was June 18-25. Its been available for almost 9 hours.
I had an order with Amazon for one on February 3, the date kept getting pushed back and I finally cancelled last month, after securing one from micro center. Supply is better now, but don't hold your breathe on it actually shipping anytime soon from Amazon.

Good point, I'll keep a careful eye on it, for any shipping shenanigans.

AMD's 5000 series appear to be getting into the supply chain with enough volume to finally start seeing some degree of normalcy. I saw 5800X's for below MSRP on Newegg this week. Better overall availability of 5900X's and it looks like the unicorn 5950X is starting to show up more often in regular channels.

I was lucky enough to travel to a couple locations that have MC's and they had the 5950X in store with good volume last month. Today it's St. Louis and any OH location you can get one easily.

On AMDs Thursday drop the 5900x and 5950x were in stock for at least an hour, the video cards were in stock for practically no time at all. CPU supply is improving, but also I wouldn't be surprised if there's some depression in the overall CPU market coming due to the unavailability of GPUs.

Yuup! Any [H] people get in on the 3080ti list? I did, but pretty late (close to 9pst).

You will have he be the time nvidia gets their next launch. I did during the day but hey who knows I am not even sure I wanna buy it but I have been programmed to want things that are hard to get now. 😂😂😂

I am an elite member and I didn't participate. $1339.99 is too rich for my blood. I would have wanted the hybrid anyway, which I'm sure is more.

So I just got my evga step up email for 3060 to 3090! Took about a month.
Congrats! … but my stepup to 3080 (from 3070) has been like, 6 months? Maybe 7? Wonder if its the the supply and/or demand of 3090s versus getting a 3060 back into their hands that makes the stepup go quicker

thats a hell of a step up too, enjoy!

Six months, so that's January. Very high chance you will never step up, as the 3080 will be discontinued long before it reaches your spot in queue. More and more people are in this boat, I am very curious what evga will do, I hope they don't just cancel everyone's step ups.

It’s the sticker shock for sure looking at the total with tax makes my stomach drop.

EVGA 3070 and 3080Ti in today's shuffle, along with an MSI 3070 (all unbundled) and some other less desirable cards (as their prices are absurdly out of line).

15% increase in performance, 70% increase in price. Looks like win all around
/s

Not uncommon in any hobby or enthusiast area.

Cars - Mustang GT = <$40K

Pick any sports car $70k - $100k and you'll not get a parallel increase in performance as you pile on the extra purchase price $. (except maybe a Tesla)

---------------------------- applies pretty much everywhere

Audio
Fishing boats
TVs - 55" LED vs. 55" OLED
etc etc etc.
Food
Wine

Probably harder to find unicorn examples where the depreciating return on your money as you move towards the highest end doesn't apply.

Sunday night, the tracking on this still said that the label had been created, but Fedex was still waiting to receive the package.

Yesterday, it jumped to "out for delivery by end of day". And indeed, it arrived.

I noticed the trend has been down if you check a site like stockx, gpus aren’t going for what they were at the peak of the crypto bubble in May. They are still ridiculously overpriced and damn near impossible to find but maybe it’s a downward trend. Possibly uncertainty in crypto and supply trying to catch up to demand will improve things.

This downward trend on crypto pricing combined with the shift in ETH towards the end of the year are going to alleviate demand on GPU and prices should slowly start to drop. If they don't you'll have plenty of one year old used parts hitting the market at discounts.

We're seeing CPU manufacturing catch up and demand seems to be dropping a bit. I'm still going to hold out for a bit though on the 5950x as this new cache setup they showed at Computex looks amazing.

Well, AIB partner 3070 Ti starting to look like they're going to be Nvidia's equivalent of partner 6700XT's, oof. $949 for a TUF 3070 Ti.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-t...0-graphics-card-black/6467840.p?skuId=6467840

Alas, pre-scalped pricing may make it easier to manually check one out in tomorrow's BB drop while everyone's fighting over the FE version.
Honestly who is the 3070 ti made for? It looks like a great replacement for the 3070 and that’s about it, but why pay more when all the prices are so f’ed up anyway.

Holy crap, Nvidia priced their shit too low to begin with so there was a necessary market price adjustment, but that's a bit extreme. I'd rather see the AIB's get the money over scalpers though.

I think the only good thing about this card is the opportunity for evga elite members to get an order in for a card they may actually be able to buy at msrp. It's a terrible value.

I am sure I will win a shuffle for 3070ti for 1k lol. Then I wont buy once again hahaha. Like the 6700xt shuffle I won for 1k with a board that I was like fuccck that. But now I can't bitch about not ever winning a shuffle I guess.
