dude had this shit in checkout. Out of stock when I submitted the damn order lol. My life. Had to return newegg build because of DOA video card but this actually has newer processor and shit. Killer deal. So close yet so far lol.

Oh wow it came back again and this time out of stock when I hit place order. SON OF A BITCH ROFL!

Yeah I could have gotten one a few times the last couple days, but the wife went and bought $4000 in new flooring RIGHT after I bought the $2000 Asus RTX 3080 Rig. This Omen is a better price AND better hardware than that one.

It hit a few times yesterday. I know I sent her a begging text at 4:48pm asking if I could have another RTX 3080. lolz. Twas ignored.
 
Intel is going to be sitting pretty on their discrete GPU launch here soon. They'll actually be able to move their CPU's. Who wants a shiny new 5000 series processor if you can't get a nice GPU to go with it? Apparently nobody anymore.

Plus any that do (like myself) have already fought the battle and won. Picked up my 5950x and mobo from microcenter about a month ago, before the weird price hikes they did for a short time. Got a 5600x for my server back in December from Best Buy. With graphics cards, both scalpers and miners have an infinite desire, that doesn't apply to cpus.

I'm unsure why Intel having a discrete gpu launch will move more of their cpus, unless you are assuming the unwashed masses will assume they need an Intel cpu to go with it? Wait no you're probably right that is exactly what will happen.
 
Conspiracy theory time - the shuffle implemented a limit on the number of entries, and all the bots got their millions of accounts entered in milliseconds before any of us could see it.
Conspiracy number two - the shuffle has actually been terminated along with newegg getting on nasdaq, but not everyone at newegg knows it yet (like the social media people.) The shuffle is extra work to maintain, when they could just put stuff up and let the bots buy it with far less effort.

i know this is a super late reply but i just saw this post. thanks for the correction - i didnt know that the supplied adapter cable was made from thicker gauge wire like the seasonic/corsair adapters. strike what i said about the FE cards in my prior post, then :)

What do you mean? Notices? Why do you need notices anyways...Its every day during the week. Its between 8-10am pst every single day lol. Theres your notice.

Yea. According to reviews it has solid parts. Much better the Alienware Best Buy sells.
Plus one of the last shots to get 3080 that can mine in extra time lol. Only similarity is dell and hp use solid PSU but Alienware that BB sells has thr crappiest confit. Cpu cooler like from 1990s abs single channel ram.

I used octoshop and I was browsing something important last night and wasn’t on bestbuy site either and got a pop notification since octoshop was scanning it and was able to check out quick. It only works on chrome so you gotta be like glued to desktop. Anytime the sold out button changes to add to cart it instantly notifies you.

Except for the random days when there is no shuffle, and never Sundays...and when days the shuffles are from 10am-12pm PST, like they were initially until recently...oh and sometimes there's a notification but there is no shuffle, but wait there is, it's just late with a random timeframe.

Are we having fun yet! :woot:

Overthinking it. Their email notifications before a shuffle have been 99.9% consistent.

And the variance in the entry window is actually a good thing for people that pay attention to it, because the people that don't may miss it and then your odds go up, if only slightly. Granted, with the reported "100,000+" entries every shuffle, the odds are small anyway, but it's something.

There's got to be a 0% chance that at least one person hasn't set up an email and newegg account generation bot by now. It's very likely the real number of entries exceeds the population of the United States.
 
There are a couple of noteworthy items in today's shuffle, namely standalone EVGA 3070 and 3080 offers, no need to buy a worthless PSU/MB with them. Good luck.

They probably have one or two hundred of them to sell, so probably something between 2000 to 1 and 5000 to 1.

Still, it's not impossible, and, frankly (if you want something decent) the 3070 is a good value for this market, so no one should turn their nose up at it.

Praise be to scgt1 as the Tech Drops Discord successfully alerted me to a BestBuy PS5 digital edition drop right before noon EST today. For clarity on my W, PS5 digital for this drop. Link provided in the discord, I went to the page fast after announced there, Yellow add to cart was there immediately, a click resulted in 'Please Wait... "How its going to work"' Gray button, and it turned yellow again and went through (ship to store).

Well if you win one and dont need it, sell it to me... Ive been trying to get a 3080 for like 6 months now.... I will settle for a 3070 but I really want a 3080 at retail price...

Pretty ridiculous times, some people have 30 cards but I cant get one...
 
I have terrible luck with the shuffle. The one time I actually win, I "won" the right to purchase a Gigabyte 6700XT/MB combo for $1209.XX. That's just silly. I didn't think I picked that option today anyway, but evidently I did.

Gigabyte has scalped their own cards so high that it isn't even worth it to buy it. I can actually get a better deal buying one on ebay.

Well folks... another day, another shuffle, some promising options today but given that its 540 (EST) here, I can assume I'm not selected. I've stopped counting my not selected tally, but I intend to keep trying. Maybe our odds will improve from attrition as people give up on it?

FYI - the next realistic opportunity is probably camping out on the EVGA website daily at the beginning of June. The TI models are going to be available for queue initially to EVGA elite members only. Assuming you meet that condition and watch the site like a hawk, you might get a new card at MSRP(ish) in the next month.
