[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears for Nvidia, AMD, Intel, PS5, XBOX

No I was saying emailing abs suppor they are pretty responsive and offered to replace my motherboard for one of the builds. IDK why ASUS z490 gaming strix ethernet wont work, even though some people have been able to make with work with some software work around. I tried it but I am too busy to mess around with it lol, I tried updating drivers and firmware not sure if firmware worked or not. Been using wifi. They offered to replace it but I just sort said fuck it.

So I emailed them to see if they can replace the rtx 3080 in new build I just got. They obviously avoid people returning it. I do have RMA for refund done already but thinking if they can replace it fast I don't have to.
Fingers crossed for you to find a resolution for this.
You can even say it doesnt have to be the same 3080 model if that helps

Not a huge chance they will. If they dont have the ABS system in when they receive the return automatic refund.
I tried this route and it failed. Thats why I say try Gigabyte first before Newegg
I would definitely try through gigabyte. This is your best bet to get a replacement.

FYI, evga 3080 xc3 ultra. Got my notice today, this is where the queue is for that.

Just for a point of reference, there is a fellow on our Discord who got his notification for that card on 11/18 at 9:12:22 AM PT. 167 days for the queue to move up one day. Roughly half a year. Think about that, everyone.

Oh, and, congrats!

Yup, after an initial dump of various XC3 cards, they have been scarce. The FTW3 queue has been moving at the speed of light comparatively.

Got an EVGA notification this morning for an RTX 3060 XC. That's the $389 model with backplate. I signed up right away for that one. Maybe they got a good sized batch in recently.

I signed up for every card they have because I wasnt sure wha would come uop first, and if I would ever score a card anywhere. I did the same BH

Im getting a lot of these lately.
Nobody wants to make the older entry and lower mid level GPUs anymore

B&H marking an item discontinued doesn't mean the item is literally discontinued and the AIB is no longer producing them, it's just a catch-all B&H uses for various reasons. The reality is that AIB's have ramped up production on previous gen cards including 1650's & 1660' since beginning of year, and aren't slowing down.

So I added in march 2021, basically I am not going to get one in my life time.
Don't feel bad. I did the same exact thing. Might as well write off being notified for that one. Hopefully the TI isn't longer. The FTW is too long and who knows if the TI FTW will be any longer either. I'm also stuck with the 3070 XC3 for my daily as I can't go much longer then the 1080FTW due to a coolant fitting. Maybe todays shuffle is the day for that one.

I see BH just doesnt want to be held to their waiting lists or prices hey were at

I missed the shuffle today. Seems like a pretty good one.

If anyone wins the 3070 combo with the EVGA XR1 capture card and doesn't want it: I would like to buy that combo. I have an XR1 arriving today from Amazon, which I could return.

What I don't understand is why put a budget motherboard in a $4200 computer, it has this asrock b550 phantom gaming-itx/ax
Probably has to do with size. A lot of the top end mini ITX boards are actually DTX boards and are larger top to bottom. Also, huge overclocking potential is unnecessary as the computer is already thermally limited. You're paying for a lifestyle product.

See Linus' attempt to roll his own Corsair One.

I think there is only one DTX board with a current chipset

Wow, that was actually VERY interesting but why does Linus have to make watching it cringe worthy with his goofy schtick.

Thanks for the link!

What about the rog strix x570-i gaming that is what Linus used in his build.
Had one of those too. Good board but not worth the premium over the very good gigabyte b550i. The only advantage the asus had was the extra pcie lanes which don’t do ya much good on an itx board.

Are you still having issues or did you send it back? If you still have it and are still having issues. Hit up this page also grab this and remove any traces that lead to which ever network driver that board has. Also if you have that Intel Network management program installed can it. That causes a bunch of issues. Then run the corresponding update for your specific network device as stated below the drivers in the first post.

MoKiChU from the ROG forums keeps everyone up to date with the newest drivers, ME, etc because we all know Asus doesn't. He also removes any of the bloat that isn't necessary. I also recommend going through his link at the bottom of the first post to source out all the other drivers, fw, etc for your specific board. Just make sure you follow the install instructions for each set of things your installing. Many require using the linked Driver Store Explorer to remove the old traces for the first run through of his drivers. Subsequent updates can just be installed per the install process below each download.

Cool I’ll try to play with this before I go on vacation or after but I do need to address it because other people with same board got it resolved. Thanks for the tips

The HP Omen with the 5600G and RTX 3060 at Best Buy doesn't even have a display out port on the main board.

5600G. No HDMI, no DisplayPort, no DVI, not even D-sub VGA. (if there is I can't confirm it on any product spec pages or photos of the machine)

Yet the CPU has integrated graphics.

I'm not sure which z490 strix board you have but I believe I just checked them all at Asus and they seem to all have the same network adapter I do on my XII Formula Intel® I225-V 2.5Gb Ethernet. I don't have any issues with mine. But this is the adapter that a ton of people have problems with.

That's about a $600 markup, right? I don't want to admit that I'm tempted...

Decent shuffle today. Don't expect them to have many of the non bundled cards. I would like the evga 3090 for a basically free upgrade to my evga 3080.
Overall it's been better than it was from February to the start of April.

I am running a GB B550i pro ax in my SFF. I have no issues except the Fusion sw is clunky like most RGB sw is

I wish winning the shuffle meant I got what I wanted. But at least someone can use it.
6700xt and b450 board for over $1k is a bad deal
Im not sure why the 6700xt is priced much higher that the 3070s
