0-39, but hey at least I scored a 5950x at Microcenter yesterday so at least there's that.
I NEED a MC near me.
The Lottery system might not be fixed but looking at the track record from peeps here it seems that way.
But a MC I can go in and have a fair chance.

I have made 3 purchases from Newegg that I would normally have made at Amazon and waited 5-7 days for delivery.
Why, hoping Newegg was skipping me for no recent purchases and I could change that.

Even worse for anyone here because they call themselves hardware enthusiasts.
Last I checked free market economics applies to HW enthusiasts as well.Sold a couple of my sff friendly 3070 and 3060 tis near cost, big mistake, needed one for my sff build now and the best offer I got was an even trade from a 3070 tuf to a 3060 ti fe...no thanks.

Idk if I call camping out over night or very early in the morning to beat the scalpers/miners is a fair chance lol.

Just stop with the sanctimonious bull shit.

I think everyone would agree that there is more to life than money. If you bought a $10 scratch off lottery ticket and won $10,000, and I told you to donate $9990 of it to charity after you recouped your cost, would you do it? After all, there is more to life than money. You can't possibly know the financial situation of everyone here to make judgments like you're doing.

Whatever I think some of you people have problems, can’t stop buying up gpus like crack or something.

Well when GPUs are making people money, I don't see that the trend will stop. On the other hands, gamers are buying GPUs to play games. That's not a necessity either.

Y’all bickering over scalping, mining, and shit are gonna get the thread locked by mods. Stop it.
Good... Less people getting in stock notifications means a better shot at me getting something! 😁 (I'm joking if it wasn't clear)

Im in a discord that does instock for the 30 series cards. My favorites are the ones that pop up on amazon that I'll get into my cart, click the use this address button, then it tells me there was a problem. Guessing the bots beating me to it. It's semi comical at this point.

You are pretty quick to even get to the use address screen. I can't even get to add to cart fast enough.

I got an alert about 25 minutes ago from the Octoshop Chrome extension. Clicked on the 3070 FE add to cart button on Bestbuy in about 3 seconds. Still failed. It does seem as if one needs to be running a bot or script at this point in order to successfully get a GPU. I am guessing the add to cart action needs to occur in under 1 second in order to succeed. Question, would using a different browser like Brave make a difference?

Looks like it was a very small drop, some of the bot guys on discord are complaining most of the bots failed too fwiw...

I don't know how people can afford the current GPU's. I want to update my gaming rig but when a video card cost more than the rest of the parts!!

Because our current parts are sometimes worth more than MSRP of the new parts. E.g. Bought a RTX 3060 for $450 but sold the GTX 1070 Ti it replaced for about $500.

Same, in some ways I feel grateful that I bought a 2080Ti back in 2018 for MSRP.
This feels like a better deal all the time...

It's literally impossible to buy a 30 series in stock off amazon without the help of a script/bot/jesus.

Totally missed the 2 hour window of the shuffle today.

How am I going to survive without my rejection letter?

One of the homies on EVGA forums scored a 3080 on the shuffle today. Mega happy for him! Can't be jealous because I missed it entirely. Nice to see a gamer win, nonetheless. Very happy for him. This is his first win, as far as I can remember.

I’ve been following a Twitter notification feed for Amazon. Drops seem to happen roughly every hour, all sorts of cards. I’ve had the links clicked within 15 seconds of the notification and I can’t get anything in my cart even. Seems the bots are bad or there as well???? I’m bowing out of this cycle. I shouldn’t have to work to spend money.

The overpriced 6700xts are now easy to get, was able to complete 3x manual checkouts on those but alas will end up canceling most.

Agree 100%. At this point the only solution is for people to stop paying these ridiculous resale markups ... but we know that won't happen.

I've been buying pre-builts and selling the complete towers sans the video cards. Still netting around MSRP to $100 over on the cards (3070 or 3060ti) but still better than paying a GD scalper $1400 for a 3070 lol. Have done this 5 times now.... I get my card at an acceptable price and someone looking to upgrade every other part of their system gets a brand new computer for about $150-200 less than buying all the parts and building it themselves then throwing in their own video card....

I paid about $1600 (With shipping) for a barely used 3970X on Ebay when i built my system. This was still when they were about $2000+. I paid about $400 over MSRP (Shipped) for my KP 3090 so i figured it evened out. One good thing is i have a setup that doesn't have to be upgraded for a good while. (Unless something shows up that makes my current rig look like a calculator)
Still in the EVGA qeue though and absolutely no contact from them for the last 4-5 months which is why i got my current card. (Got tired of waiting)
What's funny is now that i have my computer built, i'm looking to upgrade my desk and chair.
Thinking about this desk but is VERY expensive: (Can get it with a keyboard tray and no drawers)

The wood trim looks nice, but it appears to really just be something like this, underneath the trim. What kind of desk is that?
