did Intel release Rocket Lake with no iGPU driver?

Does this include no driver being available to Intel's DSA?

Didn't see any info specifically about that. Does anyone know if DSA won't even install a driver the the new UHD 750 iGP?

navigating Intel's site for individual drivers can be a PIA. Have you tried the Intel Driver Update Tool?
It auto scans your hardware and offers all the drivers you need in one sweep.

to be clear, I don't have a Rocket Lake CPU. I just saw this and thought it odd if true

wow, gfx driver by "a few weeks" turned into "Monday" turned into "right NOW" real fast once people started to notice. Does Intel not know/care that people are watching how the XE iGPU rollout is going and are making judgements on the future XE dGPU? Releasing a GPU with no driver does not instill confidence in Big XE.

I'm sure there will be a driver CD in the box.

...or at least an IOU slip.

"in the spirit of innovation, users will have the option of obtaining drivers via their choice of Thunderbolt 5 flash drive (not compatible with USB-only ports), 3.5" floppy, or digital download (exclusively available through Epic Games Store)"

I'm still v. curious what happened with the earliest adopters last week. Presumably prebuilts had drivers integrated into the system image as usual, but I know folx bought bare CPUs too- was there a Windows Update driver or were ppl SOL?

I don't have a Rocket Lake CPU. But I do have an H570 Rocket Lake motherboard from Asrock, with a Comet Lake CPU installed.

Asrock posted a VGA driver in January for this motherboard. I looked through the readme and it says it supports graphics for Comet Lake and Rocket Lake.

So....I'm assuming Intel did not have a driver/the latest driver on their own website. But motherboards at least had older drivers on their support pages.

Omg, guys.... This driver kicks butt for mining! Getting 20mh/s for a 20w power draw delta vs idle. I'm gonna have to stock up on them, can't find more 3080 cards to use right now :(.

Can you translate that to dollars per day?
EDIT: I just had a funny thought for a minute. What if AMD comes out with CPUs with very powerful onboard graphics? Then they might sell out very quickly or be too expensive to consider.
ANOTHER EDIT: I took a peek a while ago for the GTX 1650 profits and it looks like $1 a day. A while ago it was $3 a day. I just hope this means the mining popularity will make it less profitable for them to do it so we can get cards.
