Took a look at current posts and the most recent looked to be back in September.

I'm going to be building/buying a brand new computer next month and I'm looking for 2 brand new monitors to pair it with. Right now my setup isn't matching and one of them has this weird blinking issue and it's probably gonna die soon.

I want at least 144hz
- 1440p. I don't want 4k or 1080.
- Good color accuracy
- Fast response times and low latency.
- VESA would be nice in case I want to install arms later.
- Height adjustment is a must but I don't care about swivel or being able to orient it sideways.
I can save for them but I'm trying to keep the total cost at $1,000 USD. Total as in for the pair.

Edit: I saw good things about 27GL83A-B on Rtings.com

I just want to game on it for battlefield 5, CS, WoW and whatever titles come next like BF6.
The number of monitors to read reviews of and such is mind boggling. I don't know if I want VA or IPS. I care more about color accuracy than black levels. The thing I care the most for is motion blur and input lag.

I appreciate any help with this. Thanks :)

LG 27GL850-B 27 Inch Ultragear QHD Nano IPS 1ms NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor, Black

This one looks very good and pretty much exactly what I want. It also gets very good reviews. Amazon has it listed for $429 USD so it fits in my desired budget.
The reviews on this thing are pretty good too. Also has good color accuracy right out of the box. I love how LG does that with their monitors.

Anyone have any thoughts, concerns or suggestions?

I would read some of the recent reviews from Rtings. The late 2020 and new 2021 mid-range monitors released recently, have panel response times as good as the 850-B, higher refresh rate, better color gamut, and better input lag.

As an example, LG's new LG 27GN800-B is strictly better than the 27GL850-B

LG's IPS also tend to have lower contrast. I like to see IPS with contrast of at least 1000. But many of them are delivering 1100 - 1300

However, if you like black frame insertion. LG usually gets it right (If its an option on the model you buy. They don't always offer it).

black frame insertion

I don't know what that is. I'll have to google it. Do you have any monitor suggestions to add to the LG one you gave or is that GN model basically the best in that price range?
