i got one this am from scdkeys . Use the code jpd20 and it comes out to $15

Not trying to turn this into a conversation, but unless this is corporate why are you buying Windows keys instead of using a HWID keygen? More than likely that's what that Chinese website is doing.

I'm still using those eight Windows 7 keys I got here from that ACM deal way back when. Like $15 lmao

Hey I just want to say Thank You as you now saved this cheaper then Mr. Krabs cheapskate (Me LoL) from buying the $5 keys on eBay!
One question how do these work (if at all) with a Microsoft account?

It just doesn't make sense to me why someone would pay someone else to create a key using the same piece of software when you can do it yourself.

I don't personally use Microsoft accounts; domain or single user systems only, but to the OS doesn't care how it's activated only that it is activated. The HWID gen creates a key that's tied to the motherboard the same way a normal Windows license would be. It should be exactly the same.

Never tried the HWID thing, but it didn't work for me when I tried it just now. Told me the key was bad.

Edit: NM. I was using it wrong. It worked for me after I tried again.

I had to replace my mobo. Since it was a mobo for the same model of mobo I did not really think I should have to buy Windows again.
Here is what I learned.
  • You do the licence is based on the UUID of the board.
  • You can run the PC without activating it, it is a bit annoying, but you can.
  • You can change the registry to get rid of the annoying part but you need to reboot.
  • My old windows 7 key worked and I am now activated.

I would like to know more about the HWID, as I have a VM I would like to register, to get rid of the annoying watermark. Or maybe I will use Linux.

Because this is the first I ever heard of this tool so no more buying windows 10 keys on eBay anymore!
