Hit a Folding (Stanford) milestone? Post it here:

it's been a long while .. last time I was active we were nose to nose with EVGA .. and we over took anonymous .. we were #1 ..I got my free GenMay access from folding ... oh how the mighty have fallen! .. I fired F@H back up on my 3800xt and 5700xt .. VIVA LA [H]ORDE!!!!
Well...keep in mind that we have started to have a friendly team competition with TAAT around the beginning of February each year. :)

Well, its not a number milestone but I made it into the top 100 of the team finally :)
I'm aiming for top producer on the team but I have to wait on the funds to clear (no telling when that is gonna be).

I stopped F@H'ing for a long time ... and was sitting at 50mil .. noticed a recent challenge so loaded up my 3 Ryzen boxes for the [H} and kept it going to hit 100mil .. but sadly, I'll have to stop again as my wife showed us our power bill and ... yikes! :(

You can run your Ryzen at stock 3.6 GHz by turning off boosting and they should use less power. GPUs are far more efficient for folding, especially nvidia cards. I upgraded from a RX 570 to a 1660 and nearly doubled my PPD while dropping my power consumption.
My power bill is rather high compared to other homes around me, mostly because my furnace fan runs 24/7 (old furnace) and my girls take the longest shower that they can with hot water.

I have my 5600x and 5700xt, wife's 3600x and RX 570, and then my daughters 3700x and RX 580 going at it.. way mo' bettah then the single core Athlon XP boxes back in the day ...

Agent_N is giving solid advice. For instance my HTPC is folding 6 CPU threads for 25-30K ppd for 80-90 watts. My OC'd GTX1060 is using 150 watts but is getting me 800-900K ppd. I only started up the CPU for the recent TAAT challenge and have left it running for shits and giggles for an extra week. Your 580 should get 350K-ish and 570 270K-ish according to the (dated) GPU database. No data listed for the 5700 but it should be much higher for comparable draw and if you were to keep just one thing running that would prob be it. CPU's are definitely inefficient. I hope you can manage a GPU or 2

I had an RX 570 4GB that was doing about 10-12 milllion PPM, about 3 million per week, roughly 400k per day.

Just underclock GPUs and you will still net a lot of PPD with all those GPUS! Leave CPUs idle and that will keep your bill a lot lower. The Navi 10 cards can be quite efficient when you run power envelope at -50% and/or undervolt/underclock.

Ya, I just found a newer PPD database and I see RX570-590 up to 490K. I knew the other one was old as it didn't have newer Nvidia PPD's after the CUDA update. Flushed that one from my favorites list. If he keeps the CPU's off and takes your undervolting advice he should be able to keep on chuggin' without having to deal with the WAF (Wife-Acceptance-Factor)

And now I have broken the 100 million point barrier.
Congrats man! It’s much easier to drop massive points now compared to back in the day. I used to sort by WUs to get an idea of actual packets contributed when I was checking out the stats, but haven’t looked in a long time.

Oh, no doubt. Most of the people I've been passing have a fraction of the work units done that I've finished but I do pass the occasional person who has a hell of a lot more work units done than me. When you pass someone with that many work units and at the point range I'm in now, you know they were a huge producer back in the day.

Indeed. Even tho I'm ahead of Ax overall and am approaching 100K WU's he's still got >60% more WU's than me. Gratz on making page 2 and top 200 !

I didn't even realize I was still folding on my 6900XT for the past 4 months.

Uh, I'm in the top 20 producers by 24h/week? 😂

I'll leave it running. Smoke em if you got 'em.

What amazes me is that I can stay in the top 20 with only two RX570s and a 1050Ti. I don't even have the CPUs running anything at the moment. It's not worth the power and heat they generate since it's not winter. As it is, I'll probably be shutting down soon since it's summer and the a/c is struggling to keep the room cool.

One of my rigs is currently off, i should get it fired back up and reclaim my number 3 spot

Yeah- blew my doors off a week or so ago. Makes me wonder if I work with / near DR. There is a Porche at work with that plate. :ROFLMAO:

17 years to the month for my first 1B then less than 21 months for my 2nd : https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/id/25677 . I'm in top 20 for the team but it won't last long. Ducrider has got the mower in overdrive. Hopefully he goes over so fast I'll barely feel it.
I will be flying by in a little over 3 weeks. I have been folding on and off since 09. The road leading up to you is starting to slow down with all the folders near the top. I made my first billion just a few years ago folding again with OCN. Then I moved to EVGA folding team(who has great team of folders btw) to make 7.7 billion in less than a year. As of right now I will do about a billion a month. Each update brings more points than I did back in 2011ish over the course of 2 months. With better aka newer hardware it's a lot easier to do now.

Unless you are on the East coast near Savannah GA . It won't be me. Also I do not have a Porsche. Personally I would not own one unless it was a GT2/3 version race ready.
