LED Chipmakers Raising Quotes

Definitely due large part to LED grow lights in my opinion. Saw this coming months ago. Growing stuff is huge these days. And I am not just talking devil's lettuce. Food. Seems everyone and their brother wants fresh lettuce, spinach, and herbs from their basement or spare bedroom now. Gardening forums I belong to are full of mars hydro this or aglex that.

I've used Finnex lights for a long time now. They have a lot of value for what you pay and the Planted+ has 121 par at 14 inches. This is plenty for everything you could want to carpet at 18. You will need CO2 injection. They have more feature rich ones with more adjustment that I would look at without CO2. That said, CO2 is the easiest route to better growth. If you are not using a fertilizer dosing regimen, and are not running CO2, I would not go over 50 par
I'm doing co2 - but for red plants i find i need higher par esp at 24 inches.

Yes. You can cheat with your landscape a bit and elevate red plants up in the back closer to the light. I typically use a mix of egg crate/river rocks/sand with aquasoil on top instead of a giant mound of aquasoil. You can also use extra landscape rocks and build soil on top of that. Both ways stabilizes the slopes.

Seems the cat is out of the bag. Someone finally told LED manufactures that tweens worldwide were going crazy over RGB lights for their computers.

Thanks O'Biden!

Hopefully this will lead to a decrease in the RGB puke on literally everything.
You know you can set the LED's to a solid colors or just turn them off entirely? I like RGB and I don't have to have mine looking like unicorn bust.
