Mechanical keyboard +$9
Gigabyte Aurous gaming mouse +9
Free Mouse Pad
Upgrade to a EVGA gold PSU for $10.
Drop the OS to save $60 and buy your own key on the forums here for $15.

I have one of CyberPower’s mechanical keyboards. It’s quite nice. $9. Yes please.

Real talk. That’s a great price. Well under $1500 for the full machine. A 2080TI alone six months ago was $1500. The 3070 basically equals that and you get the rest of the machine for “free”.

Only downside.

Pricing/part:
CPU: $300
RAM: $50
SSD: $100
GPU: $500
Free Marvel Avengers Game.
Motherboard: $150
PSU: $50
Case: $50
Total is about 1200. Solid deal
Except these prices you quoted aren’t real right now. Find a 3070 for $500. IMPOSSIBLE. You’ll find them selling out in seconds at $800.
Find a PSU for $50. Microcenter shelves don’t have a single PSU on them. Even that 1TB Intel SSD isn’t $100. You underbid on everything and also left parts out like CPU Cooler, OS, and frankly you’ll only find crap cases for $50. This is a quite nice looking tempered glass case with six RGB fans.

That PC is a steal in the current market.

Is it me or are the 3060Ti and the 3070 config are the same price?

I know everyone is upset about the prices but people need to understand, its supply vs demand.. they are getting what they are worth, otherwise they would not be selling a single card.
Strange... before the 30 series announcement when you could get any any 20 series video card from any vendor the prices weren't dropping to move units, sure there was an occasional sale here and there but not having any problem to buy something seems to indicate supply side was more than ample. Supply vs. demand works as a fantastic argument except that it's very convenient the people with the goods will only apply it when it benefits them.

GPUs never drop in price unless it is reaction to competition.

Odd I click the link and it says $1399.

You had me until you claimed RGB makes something look nice :D
But I would argue the value here is a lot like combo deals at Newegg, you may end up paying a lot more for something you want and get a bunch of things you don't want. If you want a full rig, and are ok with these specs, then yeah damn good deal. If you already have a work rig though that's more than serviceable, you're effectively paying $1200 ($1400) for a GPU that has a MSRP of $500.. then eh... although now that I type this it makes sense all the computers missing GPUs that I saw early on in this craze.. guess people just bought the rigs for the cards and then try to get some money for the whole rig (which I dunno, $700 for a GPU-less system? eh...)

Thanks for the heads up, I was able to get an order in yesterday. Since they don't charge upfront, there's really nothing to lose....

anyone know what date they are up to in that EVGA 3080 queue?...my date is October 7th
literally the farthest along queue is one day after launch and everything else is still the first day. They had thousands of notifies to go through, and they are NOT directing all cards - they only get a small portion.

I think there were less on the Hybrid cards - but they are still in the first 6 minutes on those cards. I know because I signed up for one of the hybrids at the six minute marker and haven't been notified yet.

Really you won't get your card from the EVGA queue with that type of date, until the cards are available everywhere. sucks - but truth.

wow they are still only on Day 1??...crazy...I signed up for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra

My understanding is that's the only 3080 card on day 2.
There is a loose estimation in the EVGA forums - but EVGA won't say formally - so it's just people reporting when they get their notifications and timestamps.

When you say "6 minutes" do you mean 6 minutes after midnight of the 17th or 6 minutes after 6am that morning after the official launch time?

Six minutes after the first available time you could subscribe to notifies on that Hybrid launch day. I was waiting prepped and ready 10 minutes before. The EVGA site belly upped and the earliest I could access the site was 6 minutes and 21 seconds in.

GoldenTiger was a few minutes ahead of me. He already got his notification and made his purchase on the 3080 hybrid.

I'm guessing you are on the east coast?

I put my notification requests in at 5:21am that morning. I think they opened notifications at 12:00am on 09/17.

Most of the non ultra skus are ghost skus and will never ever be available. I have no hope that my 3895 and 3881 sign-ups from 9/21 will ever be current.

Look at the sku on the circled one. That’s one of the hybrids. They didn’t have notifies available on that sku til that day 12/16. I’m not near the top of the queue on any of the cards but the two hybrids which launched on 12/10 and 12/16. I’m in the first 10 minutes on the 12/10 sku and the first 6 minutes on the 12/16 sku. The other cards I’m signed up for, I’m so deep in the queue there’s basically no chance.

I thought that since it's been a few months that a lot of people might have gotten a card through other means and dropped out of the EVGA queue...meaning the queue would move a bit faster

I don't think people are remembering to cancel their Q or are hoping to get another one to sell.

I think once you get the notification you have 8 hours to respond otherwise the next person in the queue gets it...
Yes but he's talking about people who got the card somewhere else and I'm saying those people aren't likely to cancel their Q so they are still sending notifications to people who no longer need it which puts a minimum of an 8 hour hold on the card. I don't know how much this is holding up the Q but I'm sure it's adding to the wait.

anyone with the means is buying from the queue if they get the notification email even if they already have a card. and frankly its stupid not to. EVGA is honoring the pre tariff price for anyone lucky enough to get notified before mid april. so buying a card at less than current MSRP for all others, and reselling given market conditions is a no brainer. or at the very least getting them for friends in need faster. i doubt people who have cards already are giving up buying opportunities in any meaningful number that would make the queue progress faster.

manufacturing is the only things thats gonna help. and there seems to be some funny business happening with the 80class SKUs. they show up in number far far less than all the others. which shouldnt be the case if its a yield issue. youd think the 90 would have more trouble yielding in volume since its bigger/more likely to be defected. but thats not the case. the card with the massive margin is the most common...... and the one with the highest demand and a significantly lower margin is MIA. were TF are all the 80s? was speculated nvidia was hoarding the cut down ga102s for the 80TI but thats off the table again. they gotta be just focusing on the 90s and sitting on the 80 dies for until after they wring $2k a piece out of as many buyers as possible. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Yeah...That's what I just said.

Given the financial situation constantly deteriorating, I think more and more are staying in these ques and hoping to acquiring ,then flip these cards, just a thought. I have six cards qued up so far,and have recieved none but if I get these I will offer them here for no mark up. My 1 card was bought through a local store in late Oct.

Yeah but there has been almost no movement on the hybrid queues. They cant be putting more than a handful of cards per day into the queue system.

You’re the man. Keep me on your list of potential buyers if you get additional cards.

I know a friend just got his evga 3080 XC Ultra last week. I traded my 6800xt even for it. He was a day one que.

Unless that que is one besides EVGA's own, that is wrong. I have been in the 3080 XC Ultra queue since 12/1/2020 7:00:25 AM PT. Still waiting.

Edit: Totally read that wrong. Thought he signed up and got the notification the next day. lol
