"Perhaps the biggest design change with the GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Master OC has to be its memory set-up. The board has just two DDR4 DIMM slots, or one DIMM per memory channel. From a memory overclocking standpoint, this is the most optimal memory configuration, and the reason why memory overclocking records are usually set on Mini-ITX motherboards (that have 1DPC memory configuration). Elsewhere we see a pair of PCI-Express 4.0 x16 slots wired to the CPU (x8/x8 with both populated), a third PCI-Express 4.0 x16 (electrical Gen 4 x4, wired to the X570 chipset), and three M.2 NVMe slots, each with PCI-Express 4.0 x4 wiring."

Two 8 pin PSU connectors for the CPU? That's a whole lot of juice.

I actually got one of the cheaper ones for the X390 platform. Microcenter had a 9900k for $300 a little awhile ago. My old x370 didn't really like it, so I upgrade the mobo. The first one was a dud and I returned it, the second gave me a fit with the power bug. I hadn't OC'd it yet. As, I'm waiting for the 3080 to be in stock. I want to see case temperatures first (I'll need a new case if I'm going to fit the 3080 in it) but the power bug effected my stock boots. I've updated the bios, still got one...but it hasn't happened in a while. So, I've kept the board. Still it reminded me why I hadn't purchased Gigabyte in awhile.

I have no complaints with it. When I first got it would fail to boot and reset itself but that was fix with a bios update. I haven't had any issues with it since. It was a memory issue I believe. Since it only did it when I enable xmp or manually set it above default speeds.

Beauty of bugs...don't effect everyone. HAHA!
 
I have a X570 Aorus Elite WIFI with a 3900x and 128gb of memory and the only issue I have is that once in a blue moon it will randomly sleep and not wake up without a hard reset.
 
Running the X570 AORUS MASTER with a 5800X and haven't ran into any issues, friend has been running the same board on his 3700x for a year or so without issues. Actually, come to think of it I've been running Gigabyte boards for all my builds dating back to the 754 days without issue , well besides a lightning strike frying a board when the Surge protector failed (Hooray for good surge protectors that have warranties for equipment attached to them in case of failure)
