Yup this is not looking good boyos. Absolutely nothing may happen this morning despite all our hopes.

Yar, I've come to terms with the fact that I likely won't be getting a new GPU until 2021... made easier because I snagged a PS5 :-D

I have a PS5 and used it once. I think I'd trade for a 6800 series card personally.

Well, I F5'd a little at Newegg and no change. I guess nothing is coming.

That'd probably be a very possible trade, tbh. I imagine the 'scalper' value of a PS5 would run higher than a 6800.

Update: Reviews are going live

All the images on Newegg and BB are of the Reference design cards...

Whoops - they just changed at 9:09

Gonna guess those Newegg cards probably already sold out before the average Joe could find the product page.

yeah......where's the big inventory?

Who cares. I'm not spending $150+ over the reference models for a 6800xt. Even the 3080's were "only" $110 or so for the top of the line models.

I think this is NE price gouging the more I think about it.

Look at the price increase of the AIB's! The ASUS TUF, their entry-level, is $160 more than the reference 6800 XT. This is not looking good.

I'm thinking that is NE price gouging. I'd have to check reviews for the actual MSRPs.

1) These AIB prices are terrible
2) There still appears to be no inventory

So uh... I thought we were supposed to see a big push for AIB inventory today? What's going on here?

I dont think there was any official announcement, but the rumors of better stock seem to have been baloney.

yup.
Like always.
I mean 30 bucks more over the MSRP.......this is shitty.
I did see the plain Sapphire for MSRP......but SHIT, there's no stock......WTF.
Can only hope AMD gets some stock.

Yup, if these prices are accurate, I'm not interested in AIB. Going to be watching the AMD store for reference cards for $650.

Joke of a launch. What a joke. AMD and nVidia burned so many customers and left bitter taste even in retailers...

The Brits seem to think the AIB release was "2pm" (which is 9 EST, 6 PST)... So its a global confusion.

And lack of supply.

And BB still does not have the non reference AIB cards displayed.

been sitting here for 20 minutes refreshing........no luck.......fail

I have to go pick up some RAM at Micro Center. Going to see how many people are in line at 9AM, lol

A bunch more "auto notifiy" listings just hit newegg. That rog strix at $899 is insane - why wouldn't you just go to 6900 at that point?

Because the AIB 6900XT cards will probably be $1200.

No way I'm paying that much over MSRP for an AIB. I never saw any come in stock anyway.
I think today might have just been the embargo, no actual stock shipping. And if you want a hybrid card, that's what they cost - that IS the MSRP for the card with the additional cooling. Not a markup.

$810 for TUF, $830 for Nitro+. Guess I'm getting a smoker for Christmas.
That's for the Nitro+ SE, regular Nitro+(No USB-c and less RGB) is $770 though that's still $20+ more than I expected. It looks like a decent card but I might just pick up a reference card if I can find one.
