I tried this morning at 6am PST and didn't see anything but that doesn't mean I didn't just miss them.

It would at least be something to slow them down but scalpers would likely just jam the lines with robo-dialers and hire people to place orders.
 
I went to Micro Center on Friday at 7am and I was 16th in line. I was able to get a RX6800. They didn't have any RX6800 XT in stock.

I actually wanted a 5900X and a 6800XT, but ended up with 5800X and 6800. I haven't installed them yet because I need to water cool the GPU and I don't want to take my loop apart twice. I should actually be happy now, but for some reason I'm not. I think both products don't have the best value, I would have paid $180 more for the next tier up (5900X and 6800XT).

Maybe! I just took a chance every morning at that time, and always saw activity, and last Thursday seems pretty seamless.

I can't wait to be off of my back-up card, my old GTX 980... I also can't wait until my 1440p games are pegged at 144+.
 
Mine got delivered today. Still holding out for a 6800xt, 6900xt, or 3080 for my main rig so not installing it yet.

Ordered it Friday after at about 12pm PST/3pm EST. Still waiting on shipping, though since I ordered it toward the end of the day at the start of a weekend I'm not surprised.
 
I've been checking newegg, amd.com, and BB this morning. Nothing seems to be dropping so far today.
 
I think the initial stock run is done, the AIB cards are dropping Wednesday anyways. I doubt anything will be in stock until then but if Kyle is right stock should be plentiful Wednesday, just make sure to break your F5 key right at 6am PST.
 
It seems that way. It also seems a bit odd to me that BB listed these on their site, but nothing ever dropped there even on launch day. I wasted precious seconds F5 on that website last Wednesday.

that’s the problem with these launches, with how fast things sell out you really only have time to F5 one site. 1-2 minutes after 6am makes a massive difference. Last week I knew my best luck would be with AMD directly but on Wednesday I’d probably stick to newegg.
 
I'm starting to be very doubtful we'll see much anything Wednesday. I know there's "talk" and reasons... but something tells me it won't be any more fruitful than last Wednesday for anyone. I hope I'm wrong. I'm here daily going to MC and using Distill to refresh several websites to no avail so far. My build is finished, just need a 6800XT.

Even if AMD shipped 2/3rd of their boards to AIB.. that means 1/3rd of that stock was supposed to drop between last week and now, no? How many were in those 1/3rd? So whoopie maybe there will be more boards, enough that listing will last 7.5 seconds instead of 5 before selling out, with one new board releasing every few weeks and selling out immediately, only to be backordered again with no word on restocks

Have any of the AIB even released pricing yet? I really hope they're not just going to tack on a %10-30+ premium over founders edition

I highly doubt they are going to charge up to 30% premium. It’s usually 100-150 max for top tier cards. Standard after market tend to be 50 or so more.

My plan at this point too. While I'm trying to get one I'll keep one eye on discord as well, in case something important pops up. Wednesday morning though, myself and the other 822,533 people will be trying mainly on newegg I think. If we have product links on Amazon I may also work on that angle too, but I'll use a software assist there and not waste time manually F5 it. Also, while I'd love a red devil or strix at this point I don't care. I'll take ANY one of them I can get through checkout with, even a reference card.

I'm also tempering my expectations WAY down, especially in light of what happened last week. It's all up in the air, how much actual stock they will have of xyz models this week. I've even flirted with the idea of buying a 6800 (non XT) just to hold me over for a few months until things normalize. Those aren't easy to find either though.
 
Newegg just has a drop off all the brands of the 6800XT. Sold out instantly.

lol I got notifications and I tried asap but they were gone already lol. Fuck bots and all these companies that don't even try to slow them down. Newegg is the worst. We know only humans that got it were the ones with bots lol.
 
and they upped the price by $50 on two of the three XT models... $699. Newegg is trying to get their hands in the greed pile too I guess

yea I saw that. I don't put this kinda crap past newegg. They will try to price gouge from time to time not by too much too make it seem its okay, no its not! Fucking bastards lol.

I wonder why... they basically have no stock and put a relatively tiny markup when they're out of stock instantly anyway. I'd understand if they had 5000 units and they marked it up $50. But if you only have 5 units to put up for sale, why even mark it up? Just gives your business a bad name... weird. And why did Sapphire not get bumped like the other 2?

On the canadian newegg the 5800x had a $50 price bump over MSRP and just before the last one was sold it went an other extra $120 last minutes.
