When will it be possible to buy a Zen 3 cpu without using a bot or paying Scalper rates?

Picked up a 5600x microcenter Columbus. They had 3. I'd rather get a 5950 but maybe later, this is my son's for gaming.

I was hoping to pick up a 5600x but have had no luck finding one anywhere. I ended up just getting a 3800x from Newegg on sale for $335. I am now having second thoughts but it should be an upgrade from my 4790k.

lol. I happened to get 5900x in stock notification on telegram and this time I happened to be right on it. Clicked and it was unavailable. I think it might have been a false alarm becuase I don't see discord group notification mentioning it. O well.

Truly want a 5950x though. I was really surprised amazon was taking orders for 5800x for a while. I think Large batch of 5800x is probably due because newegg did the same. I am hoping same is going to be happening for 5900x and 5950x over next week. Hoping AMD is building up a stash of those to ship out as well but just taking a little longer.

The 3900X will be on sale for Black Friday (it looks like it's 11/23 - 11/27) at NewEgg $100 off for $419. That's a pretty nice discount if you're okay with the 3000 series. I have a friend with one of these and it runs circles around my 2700X.

We'll get our 5950Xs eventually. :)
If it takes long enough I'll be able to use my B450 board...

Thanks for the info I might bite on that. One of my kids may be getting my 3800x as an upgrade soon. One kid has a 1600 and the other has a 2600.

Just say a few prayers for me I find a 5950x. You can have my 3900x with unused cooler and box for 350 lol. Was purchased less then 6 months ago.

I may take you up on that offer. Good luck on the 5950x hunt.

Amazon showing as unavailable again. A few days ago that page showed a price for me but whenever I tried adding it to cart, or even using direct buy it would return an error saying OOPS there is nothing in your cart! Wrong amazon, there is something in that cart, my ire.

Newegg combos seem to have been bought up as well. Thanks everyone for links/updates, much appreciated. (y)
That was happening to me on Amazon. Use the app on a phone and it will let you order.

Saw a 5800X at a local (SC) hole in the wall computer store of all places today. Not sure if its at MSRP, but I feel like it would be close. Not in the market myself though.

jeez. I got notifications from Distill and hotstock that the 5600x was available to purchase from amazon (with Dec. 21 delivery), so I ran to my computer and got it in my cart within 20 seconds.
Of course, couldn't complete checkout. I refreshed many times, tried "buy it now" as well. Couldn't get the order to confirm.

How the #*$^&* did you guys get your grubby paws on these cpus?!

Use the mobile app.

I was able to snag a 5900x with the Aorus Elite x570 combo off Newegg on Friday which worked out perfectly for me. Should be here Tues/Weds. I am pairing it with Corsair Vengeance Pro 4x8GB 3200 CL16. Choosing a memory kit seemed extra difficult this time this so I just settled on what I knew would work. If anything I will see if I can lower the timings a little.

I saw a 5950x combo briefly on Friday. Too brief. I was able to click on Add to Cart, but at that point the CPU was already out of stock. :(

any updates from B&H? If I'm not mistaken few 5600x orders went out? I got my email I my 5900x should ship out on Dec 21, does anyone know if that still holds or it will be pushed to 2021?

Amazon emailed to change the delivery date of my 5800X from Jan 7-17 to Dec 22-Jan 2.

Brick and mortar. Physically walk or drive to Microcenter. 2 hour drive for me and my son.
You can't out-click bots but cold, hard cash at the register works.

For reference I was at the Cambridge MA Microcenter the other day and they told me they hardly have got any, and there are people waiting outside every morning.

I wish. Nearest MC for me is 16 hours away. So 32 hours of driving round trip, gas cost for 2,200miles.. yeah not a useful suggestion.

HAD A 5900X in my Amazon cart and then got an error that it was out of stock when I tried to actually checkout. BAH!

Nice!! Bot or how did you get it?
I used the amazon app. as I've been having issues adding the cpu to my cart on a desktop browser. Also used "Brobot Zen3 stock alert" through telegram to get notification when they were back in stock. Lastly and mostly it was luck.

Download telegram and once open, do a search for a channel called Brobot Zen3 stock alert Its a notification program that pops up letting you know when the new zen 3 chips are on amazon, newegg, etc. Hope this helps.
