"And now there is no gpu in my pc"

What? the idiots that sell their current GPU and can't get a new one? That's just Ignorance 101 right there.

Uh, go out and take a breath of fresh air. Find another hobby, etc.
Not having a gpu is not as big deal as some make it sound.
In fact, if you have an issue not being able to game for a few months, then you should look into your priorities and life choices.
Besides, if you really need to sate your gaming addiction, there are tons of good pixel games that work just fine on integrated GPU.

Edit:
I should have watched the video, it's actually pretty funny.

I sold off my GPU and CPU in the same of new we turd coming out. I am not hurting by not having my PC up and running. Not much out there I really want to play atm and I still got my laptop if needed. Most my gaming been ps4 recently anyway.

Golly!! Taco didn't know there was such internal struggle inside nvidia!😯😯😯wtf happened to jensen face? Taco hardly recognize him!

Even parted with his leather jacket. Wow.

Wow.

Fascinating. :(

Hey, think of how expensive Turing cards were. Think of the parties Jensen held with all that money Nvidia gathered, candles have obviously been burned from both ends and maybe a bit from the center too. :D

I thought that’s what all the indie games were for, playing with junker gpus or on board graphics

Still have my 2080Ti. Promised my self that unless i could get a 3080 or 3090 quickly, i'd keep the 2080Ti in my system. Waited this long, so i'll see what the AMD has to offer or what Nvidia comes up with in the near future then buy what's best. Also made myself promise i won't pay anything outrageous when i do get a new card. (As in paying $3000 for a $1500-$1700 Card) Can wait as long as i need to. ;)

Once the time comes for your next upgrade, keep your current parts as a secondary gaming PC, for example something you can plug into your living room TV. That way you always have a full backup system. Whenever I upgrade my main gaming PC, I move the current parts to the backup PC. Then whatever was in that backup pc I gift to friends and family so they can have a better machine. I guess you could sell those parts as well for some money. In the end everyone wins and everyone’s happy.

Today is my 80th day without a video card... Good times.

There are those of us who have their priorities in line, have led and continue to lead successful and fulfilling lives, that enjoy winding down with games for a handful of hours a week. While I agree that it’s not *that* big of a deal, this post came off as overly judgmental.

Yeah here I am looking at about 20 backups. I should probably just sell some and make a few dollars.
I had like 4 or 5 backup GPUs I ended up selling here on [H].

The member I sold to builds budget PCs and he bought them as a lot.

PM me, I can connect you two if you want to just get rid of them in one go, I bet he will buy.

I had to sell my 5700XT a few weeks back to help my financial situation a while back, and haven't been able to even use my desktop since, as the platform I'm using doesn't have an IGP. It's not the end of the world.

I sourced a 3090 and 3070 this weekend after missing out on some 3080 stock. All sourced from local shops and resold by sunday night.

All my local friends have been upgrade to 3k series now. If you are waiting on online resellers you're gonna have a disappointing time.

Have yet to see a 3090 in the wild that I want.... mainly looking for an eVGA RTX 3090 FTW. Until then, my 2080Ti is still kicking the crap out of all games I throw at it :) I don't bother selling till I have new equipment, and even then it's a toss up as the extra cash is sometimes not worth it to have a backup. Plus, with the 2080Ti being the first real RT card... might keep that around like I did with my old Voodoo cards... ;)

All I ever see of 3090 is EVGA 3090 FTW3... saw 6 in the last 4 days in store. Problem is with cad pricing and our tax, to get it from me at just my cost would be $2150 usd + shipping cost. (usd dropped in past few days)

Sadly my local microcenter has yet to have a 3090 in stock even once... and everytime I check online retailers its always sold out. As its more of a want than a need, its not big deal. But it would be nice to be able to walk into the store and just buy what I want... lol.

Gotta brave the COVID party if you wanna play

who seriously sells their only GPU expecting to buy a new release at launch? 😂

So you sourced them did you? Were they locally grown?

I had just come back to PC gaming after a 10 year break, not related to the Zen and GPU launch timings.. Imagine my surprise at how much harder to is to build a high end computer in 2020 than it was in 2010  did manage to score a 5600x and a 3080 but only because I'm able to be on Discord notification servers and available to purchase all day right now... if you have a regular 9-5 job there's no way to get a new CPU and GPU :( even SFF PSUs are in super short supply right now and good ones are out of stock as well
