Ugh! I was there, transaction was to be processed but BofA blocked it. By the time I replied to the text message saying it was authorized, sold out :(

I was able to get to the place order screen but didn’t do it since I already have cards on the way. Looks like several people on discord got an order in.

After reloading again, I got a buy button, but "Checking Out..." perpetually and won't go to cart.

Ugh... do we mere mortals stand a chance? ;_;
 
I'm all the way at payment screen, solve captcha but it says sold out when I try to finalize order. Seems totally gone already :(
 
Of course after I turn off notifications for nvidia assuming they weren't gonna get more stock for the foreseeable future smh
 
I've never had anything but either "not in stock" or in cart but "checking out" then die on Nvidia's site.
 
The fuck, I went to nVidia's site as soon as I got the notice, but I kept getting stuck in a loop of "See Purchasing Options" and then the site never actually going to an Add to Cart or OOS message.

Nor from my Adorama 9/18 backorder either.

My personal gaming PC is still absent a GPU! I never would have guessed it'd be so hard to get one of these cards. I have a half dozen enthusiast friends who are also trying to get one too and we participate in a little text group, and none of us have met success except the odd backorder.

I've seen the OD cards go in and out of stock a few times since then, so hopefully you get fulfilled soon. I'm holding out for a founders, but I will be getting in line for the EVGA step up if that doesn't happen soon.
 
I got dinged about nVidia.com again, Distill said it changed to Add to Cart but when it loaded the site it was still OOS - lol.

3090 cards? My friend got in on that Office Depot 3090 order too and neither of us have heard anything...OD website still shows processing/not shipped yet with no status update on shipping or ETA.

yeah, I've been going to the officedepot link a few times a day. Usually it says out of stock, sometimes it says add to cart but when you try it says unavailable in the cart, but twice since the link was posted the day you ordered I was able to get one in my cart.
 
Distill notification claimed "Add to Cart" but the button is just straight-up missing??

no idea what triggers the alert, but it's possible nvidia is doing it to test bots. Since there is no visible add to cart button, only bots would notice the change. So maybe they are doing non-visible elements to trip up the bots... speculative but possible.

I think what may be happening is the button is on a separate server from the website, so it sometimes just takes a long time (or forever) to actually load.
 
The button isn’t appearing because Nvidia's site API is timing out

When I refresh the page the button takes a random amount of time to appear for me. Has always been that way.

Yeah, Distill is reading the OOS button as Add to Cart, oddly enough. Pretty consistently, too.
 
I must have been 2 minutes late when I got another notification for an in stock 3090, was going to order it for one of you guys but that's what happens when you take too much time taking a dump.
 
Just watching the availability once again the 3090 was in stock longer than 3080's. Was able to add both the my cart but didn't do more then remove after they were there.

No, I haven't since the EVGA card you should join a discord server like I have. Distill needs to be tweaked there are a few discord servers that alot are using that give earlier and more accurate information. I had time to try on my phone on both drops today. I'm sure if I had an iphone I would have been able to grab alot of cards. But even on android I definitely could have gotten 2 from Nvidia. But the issue I'm seeing is that Amazon dropped 3080 and 3090 Zotacs today and both from Amazon was higher in price. The 3080 was $817 and the 3090 was $16 something, that alarmed me.

This is not my server just provides the most reliable inventory alerts with direct to cart links in the general chanel from the owner. He doesn't care how many joins. 30 series discord

I think so, I went there saw this, simply clicked "show options" and then it brought up another page that showed a bunch of cards not just 3080 cards, but the 3k series of course is OOS, or "notify me" on the 3070 :) By doing it this way they may randomly move stuff around and bots would auto buy whatever they click on, which probably not the card.

That said, still quite refreshing to see B-stock 2080ti cards going for over $1k each on eVGA's site :D

wonder if those were mostly brand new step-ups that people bought right before launch to lock in a spot in the queue early... hmm...

So Nvidia's order process is more retarded than Poweblock, the dumbbell maker? Atleast they go in stock once or twice a month and then have availability for 30-60 mins despite the massive pent-up demand and similar scalping going on and they allow back orders with a few weeks wait time.
 
Amidst all this (pretty much given up until stock stabilizes at least a bit more and I want a card with 2X HDMI 2.1 ports), I fired up Mafia Definitive Edition on my P53's Quadro T1000 chip and am suprised as to how good 720p with medium/high looks on what is 1050 Ti level performance (it's kind of a 1650m slightly slower) and how enjoyable the game is. Now if Fedex will just deliver my 2060 I can at least forget about this for a little bit by running everything on 2560x1080 high/max.
 
Yeah reading through this thread it's bringing back memories of when the SF Giants were in the world series for the first time in the new stadium, got on the website, had FOUR tickets for 2 games in my cart, enter all my info, credit card, etc, click send and poof site crashes and of course my request wasn't sent through. I don't need to go through that feeling again.

Go Giants again! lol. Now I am in Michigan but man I almost witnessed a perfect game, bottom of the ninth 2 outs, 3-2 count and the blooper drops few inches away from Hunter Pence's glove. I was 10 rows behind home plate. Almost became part of small history lol. Was a heart breaker.

The NIS discord is useless. Their refreshes are practically after stock is gone. go to this Discord for the real chances https://discord.gg/59mEXr

Tons of folks here (in the discord) have gotten cards - myself included.

Amazon (US) dropped ASUS TUF 3080s and EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultras between 4-5 AM EDT this morning. Basically when everyone was asleep and the bots were running. How dumb.
 
you happen to have link on amazon for both TUF 3080's? can't seem to find them thru search, thx.

I was here, the bots were out it full force. The FTW3's were out of stock super fast, the Tuf cards were preorder with a delivery date of Dec. They move up but it wasn't based on what they hve in stock.
