AOC 34" CU34G2X 144Hz UW $438 | Amazon

So far it's working well for me. I use a 2060 Super and it feels very smooth.
It my first G-Sync experience, so to others they may have a better comparison.
Just keep your minimum framerate above 70fps to prevent any potential flickering or black screen issues.

I'm having the black screen issue with my 1080ti, not sure why some of these games are even getting close to the 70fps limit but I'll keep tinkering

I'm getting the black screen while playing Gears 5, it appears to be fine when playing Horizon Zero Dawn, thought my fps was pretty decent on Gears...oh whelps....I'm curious to see how the next gen vid cards do with this....(impatiently waits for the new cards to launch)...

Just a heads up. I've switched this to my main monitor at home behind a 2080ti. Let me say, the difference between freesync and gsync to me is very subtle. Both work great. Tested on 5700xt and 2080ti. This screen is replacing a gsync only AOC ag352ucg which is a great monitor but only 100hz. This screen remains a no brainer. If you're on a budget this is the only way to go. Especially paired with one of the new Ampere cards. Luckily my work bought me this one.

I seem to have found the solution to my g-sync flickering/black screen issue. Using CRU, changed the freesync range of the monitor from 48fps-144fps to 90fps-144fps. So far the issue is gone.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of Freesync? I mean I guess if it's the only option though...

A few are "available" as of 9/3 1:45AM EST (Delayed shipping times)
One used for $399, but I would buy new for obvious reasons.

Check out NewEgg...and ...MicroCenter..I think they both have it now....for the $438 price.

Well Not the Egg..but MicroCenter does..just checked...for 429..in store only though..bleh...wish I lived close to one...lol...for other items.

Ah. I already got one but was wondering for others. That's good to know. Thanks!
Got mine today. USPS nearly gave me a heart attack -- stating that it was delivered, picked up by an individual at 6AM, and it wasn't me! Turns out clerk stamped it incorrectly when he picked it up for residential delivery.

When I ordered, Amazon had it on backorder with next batch available Oct 14. Somehow a few days later, they were able to ship me a unit. Ymmv.

It's back but for $449. I gotta say after using this for a month I'm VERY happy with it. Still very worth it for $449.

lol, that's only like $11 more. That would be hilarious if that was the deal breaker.

I'm still not able to use it with G-Sync enabled, the screen does the blackout thing, - so I'm not sure if that is normal or just my luck or my gtx 1080ti? But I do like the monitor and it still does the higher refresh rates. I'm hoping to see if that part works with a 2080 or 3080 > eventually!

I might have found a solution - appears to work so far...I found this on an Amazon review - Kudos to Larz!

This monitor has freesync instead of gsync. When I first used gsync in 2016 it became a must have feature. Then I built a new rig and moved from Windows 7 to 10. Windows sometimes breaks gsync, making the price premium for it no longer part of my purchasing decision. While this monitor isn't gsync certified you can enable it via the Nvidia control panel. At first I would get intermittent black screens that would last a few seconds with gsync enabled. Needless to say this was ruining my gaming experience, so I looked for a solution. First I downloaded new drivers from AOC's website and manually installed them. Problem persisted. Then I updated the driver on my 1080ti. Problem persisted. I tried using a program to change the freesync range which some people claimed helped. No dice. Finally I found a solution that worked:
1. Make sure freesync is set to ON in your monitor's onboard controls
2. Right click on the desktop and go to the Nvidia control panel
3. Set up gsync in "Set Up G-Sync"
4. Select Manage 3D settings.
5. Change "Monitor Technology" to Fixed Refresh
6. Select the "Program Settings" tab within manage 3D settings
7. Select the game you want to run
8. Change Monitor Technology to G-sync
9. Do this for every game you want to play with G-sync

For some reason this works. No more black screens! My rig is Windows 10, 9900K, 1080ti with latest drivers.

I hope the above helps someone else that might have the same issue I did!

OK - so I have a question....I might have been doing the whole G-Sync thing wrong...lol. Now that I have updated my video card to a 3090....and I have been testing it out...this monitor rocks for that! I noticed that my monitor now shows G-Sync Active in the upper left hand side of the screen. I never saw that with my 1080TI - so it's bugging me - I might have missed a step and was never really using G-Synch properly?

So I'm curious to know if any current owners that are using a 1080ti see the G-Sync Active text on their monitor?

10 series needed a certain driver to enable it.
But the monitor does rock and I think a lot of people overlooked it.

well if you mean the latest normal nvidia drivers I was always up to date....just never saw that the g-sync active logo. I'm just wondering if that was always supposed to be there or if it's just new for the newer series cards.

Maybe newer series. I have the 20 series and I don't see it and others never said anything about it.
That driver/update was a special fix available separately from the official game drivers.

I found where it is enabled\disabled in the G-Sync options. I'm just now wondering if I didn't have my 1080ti setup correctly is all - lol.

I mean I did have option 1 set - I just don't recall the option 3 being there.

If I uncheck option 3. in the screen below - the G-Sync On tab does not show in my games...

But if I have it checked then it shows the G-SYNC ON tag. (see top left area of screen below) - which I wasn't seeing with my 1080ti

Anyways...it was just a curiosity as everything is running butter smooth on the new video card.

No more screen going blank for a moment (at least not yet...<knocks on wood>

Not sure if there are better monitors with these specs at this pricepoint these days, but Amazon @ $415 lowest price in a minute.

Deco sucks lol....
Not sure if it does suck, but AOC promises perfect pixel and equal illumination across the panel. Mine has been perfect since day one.
I used to sell refurb Dell UltraSharps and I know panels are rejected, downgraded and sold to third-parties. AOC could have an A+ panel but Deco could be A- or B+.
